You can definitely get a cheaper refrigerator, especially since you're going with a full depth one. GE also doesn't have a great reputation with fridges. Check out Whirlpool for example.

Looks to me like you can whittle your ovens, fridge, and cooktop on price in that order till you get into your range. You are going to have to accept less feature wise though.

You could try to look for display closeouts or open box units if you live in a major metro area too.

There are definitely Cheaper ovens by at least a few hundred dollars but with comparable features.
Examples :
Bosch HBL5650UC - $2700 or so.
Kitchenaid KEBS207SSS - $2500 or so
GE JTP75SMSS - $2400 or so
Whirlpool GBD309PVS - $2400 or so

On a Price note do not pay $2500 for that refrigerator. I've seen it many many places for less than that(maybe knocking off another $150-$300) Same for the dishwasher you can save at least $50-$100.

check out some online stores, like usappliance.

Monitor the Sears outlet store, too. Often you can't find the scratch and/or dent on the items or they were just returns or the dent isn't visible when installed. They can be hugely discounted. They often have the same sales as Sears (like save an extra X%), have fast delivery, and full warranty (which sometimes covers things that the items were sent to the outlet for in the first place).

If you have a good idea what you want, plus some backups that are acceptable and a few months (but not so long that warranties run out while the things sit in your garage), hitting warehouse sales, eBay, and Craigslist for floor models and closeouts can be pretty productive too. ANd always ask for a better price, even at real stores.

I wish I could give you my used but functional induction cooktop if I ever get MY remodel done...but you probably wouldn't want it :D

You did not include a rangehood/exhaust system in your list. do you already have one in place? If not, you should reconsider your options. Figure AT LEAST $1K installed for a rangehood that exhausts to the outside that is in keeping with the caliber of appliances you are considering -- could be more if installation is complicated.

The Great Indoors usually has some really good deals, if you are fortunate enough to live near one. I was able to get most of my appliances for approx. 40% off the regular price.

I'm drawn to the interior of the GE/Samsung and am sad to read about their CS issues. Should I look at Jenn-Air? A lot of people here like them, but I don't know if they're better.

I'm close to a Sears Outlet and will start checking there more regularly but don't have a Great Indoors.

HomeEverything.com seems to have great prices. Anyone know about them?

Spend your money on the double ovens and the fridge. Those items have the longest lifespan.

Here is a tip I've learned from having nearly two dozen rental homes during the last 15 years. When you buy appliances of differing brands buy a few extra emblems and install matching ones on all your appliances. For example, all my appliances say "Wolf" even though I have Wolf, LG, Whirlpool and KA in my kitchen--it looks impressive even if it is cheating.

If you have an Appliance Smart or similar type Scratch and Dent store, be sure to check there, too....my girlfriend recently ordered the same list as you have (except ovens) and her prices were at least 20% less than you have shown (Fridge was $2k), GE 30" Induction ($1300) and they were NOT scratch and dents. They were ordered specifically for her NIB. It's worth checking ... I think you may be able to get close by just negoiating a bit harder. Good Luck!
