Thank you for your suggestion. I got into the site and was reading, then decided that I would try once again. To my amazement it worked and I was able to put two new ink cartlidges into my printer. So thank you........Grace

Not a fuse. A dohicky (sorry for the technical name - lol) that, I believe, helps prevent interference with signals.

Seems like you may have a corrupt file or two. First thing I would do is shut down the computer and restart to see if that clears the issue. Second I would remove the software, remove the connection to the printer and re-install as per HP instructions, reconnecting when the software tells you to do so.

You can find them at the Dell printer support website. 2, Clean the contacts on the top and back of the cartridge with filtered water (bottled water is great for this). Always use a lint free cloth so that the contacts will not pick up particles or fluff. 3, Download the latest drivers for your particular Dell printer.
