Any tips on re-grouting/re-caulking shower floor?
Comments (4)I think your plan is ok with exception to how you plan on grouting over the cracked tile. Grout needs a pretty good space to adhere, a hairline crack isn't going to take grout. I would be worried that crack will cause you a water leak. I know there are some experienced tile people who frequent this forum, so hopefully they'll chime in. I would also suggest you post the same response over on the bathroom's forum. There are some master tile guys over there. Anyway you can get a replacement tile that will match the existing tile? That would be the best solution, even if it's not an exact match. I think the crack in the tile needs to be fixed somehow before you can regrout anything....See MoreOrdering mirrors and shower doors any tips I need??
Comments (4)Love the ideas about the mirrors. I love the look of framed mirrors verses the traditional huge bathroom ones. As far as shower doors go, I would order frameless ones or forget them and just use hotel quality curtains. Our house is only 8 years old and I am about to take down our 2nd set of shower doors. It has mold UNDERNEATH the caulking and it is very hard to clean around the shower door track. I'm ready for a simple curtain. Also, a curtain gives you an opportunity to add an accent color and soften hard finishes with fabric. Good luck making your choices....See MoreNew Rose Gardener Sunshine Coast - any tips...?
Comments (6)Hi, I have bee using Thrive but I am just about out so I might give the Miracle Grow a try. I have my roses in both, planted, and in pots. As for other plants,at the end of one rose bed we do have lavender, and there are quite a few gladioli in the front garden. Last year l made over a old raised garden bed and put my roses in that, and they did ok. But this year they have just taken off I cannot believe how much they have all grown I was going to put a photo on here but most of the roses have bloomed so there was not a lot to see, but having said that there is a second flush coming through. As for watering in this hot weather I give all my rose a small amount first thing before i go to work an a watering when I get home. But once a week I put all the potted ones in bucket of water and Thrive, and give the others a good soak and feed. We live near Nambour Hospital. Your questions are not a problem that's why we are on here....See MoreDesign question for new steam shower
