Nice bathroom. What size tile did you use in the shower? Was it hard to install? My tile guy says the walls are not level so that makes it harder to tile 12 x 18 tiles.

A question: we're deciding what we want to do with the half-walls on the sides of the shower -- what made you drywall/paint them rather than tile them? It can go either way just fine, it seems -- I'm curious as to why folks decide as they do.

Sorry I haven't responded, it's been a whirlwind of activity since last week and I'm now enjoying a vacation in Florida. I need to take some different pictures of the bathroom with better lighting. It's so hard to get good pics that do justice to the colors. lukkiirish thinks my vanity is black and I can see why from the pictures, but it's actually a very dark, ashy brown. Anyway, when I'm back home this weekend I will post more pictures and the details of the bathroom and the whole experience. My contractor was great.

Looks great! Hope you post details and lots more picture soon. I'm guessing all your planning and ordering materials beforehand helped keep the contractor on a timeline.
