stove duct near furnace duct

Hi - we are putting in a new wood hood with a vent-a-hood liner 600cfm. We have to make several turns to get the ducting out through the roof (house is a rambler so roof is directly above kitchen). I understand 45 degree turns are better than 90 degree turns. Are you supposed to have a straight run between each turn? If so, how long? Another question is where to place the vent cover on the roof. Our furnace is in the wall cavity adjacent to the stove, so we will be coming out of the roof near the furnace vent. Is there any restrictions to how close those two can be? Like is 16" apart ok? We have access in the attic to move the stove duct a little further away from the furnace, but that will add additional length to the run (and I understand shorter is better). Overall, it will probably be about 10 feet with 4 turns. Thanks in advance for any advise... Diane
