Calling all Kohler Archer & Devonshire tub owners...

Greetings everyone,

I find myself in a state of confusion over bathtubs! We are redoing a hall bath with a three-wall alcove tub. The old tub is a Kohler Villager, 60x30. Initially I just assumed I would replace it w/another Villager, but reports about the difficulty of cleaning the non-skid surface sent me searching the web for alternatives. (My non-skid surface is basically worn off, so no cleaning problem there!) I'm also a bit depressed at the thought of going through the pain of a remodel only to get an identical puny tub. With just a little modification my alcove could accommodate a 32" wide tub, so I am looking at Kohler's Archer, Devonshire, and Bancroft tubs. Their website describes them as having a "textured" bottom surface. Somebody who has one of these please describe this surface! I don't want to trade one potential cleaning problem for another!

Thanks-

Kristine
