Jane, so glad you are giving your foot time to heal before your next surgery. It would be awful to not have at least one good one. I had foot surgery on my right foot 12 years ago and couldn't drive for 2 months. It was a year before I could do a full run and feel comfortable. I couldn't even ride a bike for a few months.LOL DD's BDay is Jan. 14th so that's what gets me out shopping after Christmas. It's always so cold but she's so special I have to! DGD's BDay is coming soon and she wants her party here again. May get to use some of my neat dishes again.Yeah DS came down today but didn't get to see DGD. We did alot of cleaning and yard work so that worked out good. Didnd't make it to the cemetary till late this afternoon because we were so busy. We will have all the family home over the 4th so have alot to do around here to get ready. I always tease my family they come and visit to keep me on top of things. Jeanne, the small star candle holders are from Dollar Plus. The lg center one is crystal and I picked up the other two at ys. Your the reason I always light my tables. Thanks for the comments on the flowers. They look better in RL but I didn't want to go take any more pictures. I need you here to help in that dept.haha I have a bush in one of my gardens that reminds me of your honeysuckle but it's blooms are pink. thanks ladies for all your nice comments and support, it means alot to me! I am jumping on here early at work, because you guessed it (those of you who know my computer troubles)! Argghhh I think my home lap top has totally crashed again. It worked off and on all of and hour or so yesterday, when I went to shut down it would NOT shut down. When I woke up this a.m. it had a blue screen saying: "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. It said to restart my computer. Well it won't restart! Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I even tried doing a F8 which it suggested (on the fixed blue screen), nothing there worked either. I am going nuts here! Last time it crashed I took it to the Geek organization at the Big computer store, they did a terrible job, I had to bring it back 3 times for them to do it right, and they are supposedly computer people!!!!!! So if anyone knows which buttons I am supposed to hit please let me know (oh yes, I also tried Control-Alt-Delete, that did nothing either. I will try posting this in the computer section of GW too. This is just such a bad time to happen again..sigh...

Kathleen, Your wreath looks so nice. You have the knack for making those nice full bows too. I was so glad when they started making wired ribbon--now my bows look so much better than they did before. Cattknap, I don't think I would have thought to do that! That's a good idea that I will keep in mind. My neighbor loops the garlands along the trim on the front of her house and hangs a wreath at the end of each loop. I love the look but can't do it since she did it first! ;o( Only tip that comes to mind right now is that instead of wrapping ribbon all around a wreath for a door or centerpiece, you can just make loops and secure them to a wooden florists pick and insert them wherever you would like the color and loop on the wreath. Takes less ribbon and is easy to do. Kathleen, this was a good idea for a Christmas post. Can't wait to see what everyone adds to it. Always love new ideas. Luvs

Thank you again everyone for your wonderful pictures and virtual descriptions. I am not sure if I can get a bow around Buddy or for that matter if he wouldn't eat it before I got a picture. Whenever I take pictures of something in the house or outside he seems to get himself right in the way. It will be fun trying. I had a very good day yesterday. I put up my fibre optic tree and hung mirror and faux crystal ornaments. Did put my bows on the chairs. Tied bows around my lamps and I will finish the black tree today along with some other things that came to me overnight when I woke up at 2:00am to let the dog out. I even brought out things I haven't used and have had for many years. This year DS's Lego has been relocated per request by him to the Living Room which means that the tree will be in the family room. It will be a little different and as always the Lego will clash with all the purple. lol. He told me he would put it away till after Christmas, but I told him it was okay. It was a minor thing. Off to finish the tree. Linda
