I've been composting for several years and have never chopped anything...not that I didn't try. I tried to chop leaves with a Black and Decker leaf blower/sucker but the plastic blades got more beat up than the leaves did. I tried mowing the leaves but that vaporized them, so I didn't have anything left to compost. Now I just pile the leaves up and keep them moist. Kitchen scraps go in whole no matter what size they started. I have composted many a pumpkin that went into the pile whole. I have also composted rats, a squirrel, and a dog all without chopping.

I feel I have found the correct installation which is the cure to hold the Donuts in place (w/o any downward pipe as 1st attachment). âÂÂFinallyâ the 2nd attachment shows the Donut is put in place before the Pop-UpâÂÂs head is screwed on. âÂÂMost Headsâ holds the Orbit Donut in place and was found in a review vs any instructions. This makes since except for the Pop-Ups heads 2-3â below the ground. Those Donuts stay in place due to their depth to the top of the Pop-Ups. Plus, they are dangerous if accidentally walk on. It was hard to believe the local Installer that services the system felt the 2-3â deep (below ground) did not need couplings, Etc to raise them to ground level.

Air cooled engines do not need any "dedicated warm up" time. The only thing to consider is that you DO NOT start the cold engine and then begin doing hard and heavy work within a few seconds after starting. The normal time it typically takes to drive the tractor to where you commence working it is sufficient to warm the engine and tranny (if hydrostat) to operating status. LIQUID COOLED ENGINES do need to be warmed up a bit longer before applying a heavy work load to them. The difference between how you treat a liquid cooled engine differently than an air cooled engine is due to the fact that the CYLINDER walls of a liquid cooled engine warm up more slowly than that of an air cooled engine (because the liquid coolant mass is a significant "heat sink"). Ideally, the cylinder walls need to heat up to something near "coffee cup warm" temperature before the throttle is opened wide under heavy load conditions. To start a liquid cooled engine and immediately operate it under heavy loading and wide open throttle runs the risk of having the PISTON expand faster than the cylinder walls, which can cause seizing and galling of the piston to the cylinder walls. We found a talented interior designer who helped us make many design decisions from the planning stage to now. The architect was more the one we went to for construction issues or clarification. So, for us the interior designer together with GW is how we have gotten half way through our build and made the decisions thus far. It has been stressful and I have not enjoyed it. However, know I will love having a custom built home at the end that I could never have gotten if we had purchased a resale house. That last idea is what has helped us through, and also knowing that once some decisions were made, they were behind us. Don't forget to troll around on Houzz for inspiration pictures.
