Induction pan problem... any ideas?
Comments (6)do you have the original box that the pots came in? You may not since you said you have had them for years. Most cookware will state if it can be used for induction. Some of my induction pots/pans have a universal code on the bottom that symbolizes induction friendly. I just googled you brand & it states it can be used on any cooktop. Could there be different types of cordon bleu? I am not sure what "waterless" Cookware is. Sorry this didn't help. Will keep trying to research this....See More36" Bosch induction cooktop, which wall oven will work?
Comments (1)Can't help you with another brand, but I know from my own research hat both the Bosch 500 and 800 will work. Just read another thread where we 500 oven users discussed our experiences, and all were overwhelmingly positive. It is actually one of the larger interior 30" mainstream wall ovens out there. For a small up charge, you can get a gliding rack and (I think) still be under the 800 price. Still, if you don't like the looks of it, perhaps the 800 series would suit your needs without breaking the bank. I found that manufactures by and large do not test compatibility with other brands, so although mixing and matching may work, you may be taking a risk from a warranty perspective. In the end, we went with all Bosch and have been happy, but of course, ymmv....See More36" Bosch induction cooktop, which wall oven will work?
Comments (1)I believe the clearance under the cooktop will be primarily cooktop dependent, not oven dependent? You will get much better responses on such a technical topic over at the Appliance Forum. They know everything. Good luck....See MoreWhich 36" induction cooktop- 2 large pans?
Comments (3)I bridge two hobs for griddles. I have not cooked with a large non griddle pan on the 4 hobs bridged together. I did put my very large griddle over the 4 hobs bridged together and after it heated for a while (it is carbon steel) it worked fine for pancakes. You will get a “dead” area in the middle of the 4 so how well it cooks will depend on your cookware (how it conducts the heat) and what you are cooking. Someone posted a photo of what the wolf hobs look like under the hood and they were not circular but octagonal if I recall correctly so the dead areas are minimized. If you can get to a wolf showroom or other design center that has wolf I would try it out. Were you considering the Thermador Freedom? It says max cookware size 13X21. I would think it could accommodate two 12” pans - again find a showroom that has one live and try it out....See Moreginny20
