Here's Dollbaby's Spring outfit for March:

She's decked out in her frilly hat & yellow/orange gingham consignment shop dress:

Even her lil' "Bee" socks shout SPRING ...TS find 50 cts & her outfit a consignment shop find:

(the opposite sock says "honey" w/a bee hive)

A close-up of her 'tray-scape' ... ruffled doily, green depression glass plate, milk glass plate & white cup ...& the gift that TJ sent her around Christmas ...a gardening hat ornament w/tools & seed (thank you, TJ!):

The lil' fuzzy duck is an applique I found in my sewing junk.

How precious Dollbaby looks all dressed for Spring. Such a cute outfit & love her new bee socks. Neat little tray scape. Her dishes, duckie, hat and doilie all match her outfit.Sweet

Who is Bernice? A hermit crab I take it, but who's hermit crab? Poor crabs - out there in the sun and wind being mistreated. There are many 'pets' that ought to be banned from sale and the hermit crab is one of them! Sorry, I am anti exotic pets period. Very few people qualify to properly care for other than your basic dog or cat IMO. There is nothing worse than some kid with a tiny hermit crab prison and he forgets to mist and water it daily and in a few days the rotten stench of dead crab. Not pretty. Same goes for Turtle races or any of that ilk. Cruelty as it's best.

Congrats! Where exactly in zone 5 do you live? We are in North Central Kansas and have picked over 150 pounds already this year. I need to pick in the morning and it probably is going to be really big! As far as tomatoes for fall, you may be thinking that by August you could replant and have a respectful fall harvest. I am afraid to tell you that won't work. I have 4 years experience of growing Fall tomatoes in high tunnels. You have to remember that every day is getting shorter after June 22nd. It doesn't seem like much early on, but it starts adding up over time. The first year we a fall planting, we planted on July 20th. Luckily it was a warmer fall and I put a propane heater in the high tunnel to try and save them for a few more weeks. We ended up harvesting everything green or red the weekend before Thanksgiving. This was the first and only harvest we got. At our first winter market, December 1, we took over 300 lbs of tomatoes. Didn't sell very many. The next year we moved it up to July 10, they were earlier, but still not what I wanted. Last year we planted on July 3rd and 4th. It was beastly hot, but we did get our harvests in early October. This year we planted them on June 16th and they are looking pretty good. I am hoping for harvest in mid September. Jay

Jeanne, your candle is more than Wonderful!!! The night pic lit up just brings out her eyes. What a sweet, innocent look she has. And surrounded by clover.Awe The green berry vine is so pretty. Looks nice on your wooden plate and pm. Love this setting for a cp. Pretty spring flower picture. From what I can tell it looks fine sitting on your shelf. Your new luggage style end table is great. It will be nice to have it ready for your vine tree all the time. We have a Tues. Morning store but it is so expensive. They have the neatest dishes and decor but you pay the price if you want it. Your new cloche is huge and beautiful. Love how you placed your 'Spring girl smelling flowers' inside. So DH hasn't comment on the caged fairy? Must be partial to Santa or hasn't discovered it yet.LOL This was great to come here and see your beautiful decor this morning!!! It's so beautiful here today. Sun is shingin and warm. Makes me want to go out in the yard and play. I do have to run to the office at some point and see what I posted wrong in QB for accountant so we can get our company taxes finished tho. Punk

OA ... I'll check w/hubby on the saw blade info...he's sleeping now ...I'm the night owl. Yes, you can steal my hair-do, lady ... you save money on shampoo & when you get up in the morning, you don't need to style your hair! (altho I have cried many a tears ...but it's ok as long as the chemo does it's dirty work) ... in this pic tho, I now have no eyebrows, no eyelashes... no one told me how that would feel (& look) ...but it's part of the journey. 'Nuf said, uh. Now that trunk you're talking about I got on clearance @Hobby Lobby some yrs ago ... has to be at least 10 ... probably closer to 15 ... anyway, it's the 'girls' chest ...there's some dolls, fancy scarves, jewels galore & fancy belts in it ... I still have a young gr-gd who gets into it. ;-) Yes, I'll take another pic of it...it's stuck in that corner right now w/the tree & ice skating pond up. Now the boys they have the wood trunk under the nativity set...it's full of cars, trucks & the girls like it, too ~~ of course, they all used to get into both trunks! Now the Hoosier is the 'game cabinet' it's been one since our son was in Jr. Hi ... now that's a few yrs ago! Full of board games, fun battery games & all kinds of stuff! Santa always brings a kid game & an adult game on Christmas Eve to stay at the Sammons' household. ;-) Yes, the wood bear is probably `12 - 15" tall ... movable legs & forearms with jute ties. Jeanne, that's what I meant by hat in the last sentence. Just forgot to write ornament with it.LOL Doesn't pay to stuff your face and try to post at the same time.haha I do love her matching hat and dress tho. DGD had so many of those cute little matching sets we gave away.sigh

Love her socks & she sure does look ready for spring with her gardening supplies & sun dress & hat!! Do you have a stroller to take her out in the garden when it gets warm. Remember the metal & wood ones? TFS Jan

I love seersucker. Those socks are the 'bees knees'.
Love her little duck too.
I bet she can't wait to get out into the garden to use her little tools and plant the seeds.

sunnyca...no stroller here...DH might think I've lost it if I bring her outside! LOL! She's sat in a child rocker on the porch tho! ;-)

OA..I just have a few pcs of depression glass...some pink & green & one yellow pc ...& no other milkglass...altho I like it! Love the delicacy of colored depression glass.

Dollbaby ALWAYS gives me the biggest smiles!! She is totally adorable, once again, in her sweet outfit and her cute goodies! (I remember when you let her out of the high chair to go sit on the porch. You need to do that again when your warm Spring comes. ;o)

Teegan would be terribly envious if she could see the wardrobe Dollbaby has! LOL.
