I'm also looking for a good Fantech supplier. Westside Wholesale seems to have low delivered prices on Fantech too-at least on the surface. On Friday I called their customer service line and today I called their sales line. Both times I was put on hold-indefinitely. After 10 minutes on hold each time I hung up. Now I'm thinking-what if I had a problem with something? How would they be then? This experience reminded me that low price alone is not enough. You need to pay attention to the service side as well. Just my two cents on the subject.

Hmmm... funny timing. I just ordered a Panasonic fan from Westside today. We'll see how that goes.

I ordered all my 3" recessed lights from them and they were delivered in great condition, and very quickly. I saved a bundle on these lights, to give you an example I went to a retail store in town and I know they are expensive but he gave me a price of over 700.00 I got them for 289.00! Can we say ticked with joy!
I too called them a couple of times before I ordered and Greg (I think his name was) put me on eternal hold 2x I think by phone call and chat. I then called back and got someone else. I would definitely order from them again because when I got rid of the first rep which who knows might be playing games to cash his check the next guy was really nice and I even asked him if he had any coupons I could add to my order. He did have one but it was for orders over 499.00, so I could not use it. I ordered 3" Halo's 2 of them were shower trims they are fantastic and I am so happy with them.

I haven't bought from them, but I was going to. When I was interested in buying a Franke kitchen sink I found that they had excellent prices. A number of people in the kitchen forum were satisfied customers at the time.

I was referring to Westside Wholesale, seems to me we are talking about two different companies here.

(Re WSCDirect)I bought my Rohl farm sink from them about a year ago (their prices have gone up quite a bit on this item). They forgot to ship part of the order, I emailed and they replied and got it right out. No problems.

I have a friend who lives in the Reading area and says it is a reputable brick and mortar store.

Thanks, inmydreams. I think I will give WSC a try. It sounds like they have good customer service if a problem crops up. Problems like that aren't a huge big deal as long as they are willing to fix it quickly at their expense, and they did in your case. Also good to know that it's a "real" store. Susan

Absolutely NOT! I ordered multiple items at once and it's literally been greater that three weeks...still not complete. Repeated calls and email take an average of 3 or more days to return. Although their website states policies, they don't seem to follow any of them. My order has been broken up into FOUR parts thus far and still not complete. I literally had someone lie to me directly on the phone when was going to cancel the partial order that was not yet shipped, but they told me the remaining items were shipping that day, they didn't. UPS label was requested and bogus tracking number emailed to me, but no items ever picked up (not UPSs doing, because no items to pick up that were ready). They supposedly have only 2 people working for them, they "do the best they can" per the very NON-motivated woman I spoke with. By the way, the only efficient thing they did for me was to bill me the TOTAL amount directly after my order (over 1000 dollars), despite NOTHING being in stock. Thanks for listening, I glad some of you have had better luck. I would definitely steer clear of them.

I ordered my Fantech exhaust fan from WSC a few weeks ago. I bought the PB230-2 for $178.86 with free shipping. It arrived quickly with no problems. After reading fpresident's post, I would think twice about ordering from them again, though.

I wish I saw these postings before I ordered from WSC Direct. Ordered 2/13/11. Delivered first half 3/15/11. Who knows how long it will take for the rest of my order.
