Was it you that got an owl recently...is this another one to add to a 'collection'? The apple plates are cute.. I remember DM having similiar ones that she used as lunch plates.

What a wonderful haul. Nice variety you found. This makes me want to go check out the second hand stores around here. I haven't been in them for years and they use to charge more than buying new in the stores. So many of you seem to shop and find great buys.

Nice group of treasures. I love the little silver deer and I like the owl, too. I have a small collection of owls that I was going to put on the mantel for Halloween, but they're TOO small! This one you have would be a perfect anchor for such a group.

And for you apple plates, there are so many attractive apple fabrics, napkins, etc, and candlesticks, and everything else, that you could make a really neat apple tablescape. How wonderful that would be for summer!

Jane :: Yep, it was me that found the little pair of owls on another outing. I found this one and think he'll go neatly on the side cabinet to tie in the 2 smaller ones.
You're right.. The little deer is destined for the Christmas tote. I thought he was adorable and have some larger ones bought years ago and I think he'll tuck in nicely with them. :-) I know it's waaay early, but my Christmas wheels are already turning. LOL

I love to see everyone's treasure shopping finds! Really like those black candle holders and that cute little deer. It's never too early to find bargains for next year's Christmas decorating. I see those little apple shaped plates in allot of the antique shops too--always thought they would be fun to use. That sure would be hard to resist stopping in there everytime you go to the mall! Glad you found some treasures and had fun too! Luvs

Lots of goodies, but my favorites are the deer and the glass apple plates. That little deer would look great inside a cloche with a little snow and some evergreens. It will be fun to see him again at Christmas.
Hope to see the apple plates "in action" real soon.

MM you did so much better than I did! Lots of pretty things. Love the milk glass compote, I couldn't have resisted that either! I also have a few of those glass cake covers - they can be used like a cloche, very handy. Your tall iron candle holders are great. I also have bot a few Avon bottles, used some for garden totems, and have used them in vignettes. There seem to be an unlimited choice of styles of those.
