Kathleen, Oh such pretty tables! You know I love black and white, but those yellow plates are to die for! I love yellow and blue almost as much as black and white. Great job and thank you for posting the pics for us. You didn't describe the foods for Karen and the rest of us though. ;~)

yellow plates from the dollar store..they mix in with my fruit plates for a change..

I can't believe those yellow plates are from the dollar store. I love them. I sure wish our dollar stores had plates like your stores do.

Everything looks yummy--uh, I mean beautiful! LOL Actually it is both. My favorite plate is that little white one, that is so pretty.

My Dollar Tree has some similar plates in blue, green, etc. but I didn't see the yellow there. That looks really pretty and I wanted to tell you how clever you were to mix the two colors on the placemats. Good job.

I don't understand why more people aren't joining in. We had so many nice posters here during the Christmas and New Year's holiday. Hope they will come back by and show us their pretty dishes too.

Luvs, that is one of the plates from Christmas Tree Shop. It was 1.69. I should have bought more, but DPman was rolling his eyes!
I have those dollar plates in green too, got them to go with the stuff I found at Pfaltsgraff, which I haven't used yet!
Sandi, you have to talk to your Dollar Tree, tell they they are dish deprived!

kathleen...I love the blue and yellow combination. I am not usually a 'blue' person and I don't own any blue dishes but I really like how your table looks. Of course your food, as always, looks soooooo good.

Kathleen, Your red, white and silver table is very pretty. I love the flowers in the dome and how the "lace" on the white plate and cake plate bring out the lace on the tablecloth. It's all so pretty.

That dome came from Kirklands, the pedestal and plates from the Cmastree shop...:), the red glass bowls from target, the red glass plates from dollar tree.
You know... we all shop at pretty much the same places...I just think it is funny that without comparing notes we came up with settings that are so similar...lol

That is shrimp with a lemon wine sauce, a little half and half at the end. It is good...and I used fat free half and half so not heavy!

Kathleen, thanks. Certainly looks delicious! Yes, I haven't been on here a lot & we weren't home for Christmas so didn't have any tablesettings to share! :( Hope to put something together for Valentines Day though.

Karen, you are right--it is both pleasure and pain to see Kathleen's delicious food pics isn't it? Pleasure because the food looks so yummy displayed on all her pretty dishes, and pain because it makes us drool and we can't have any! ;o)

Maybe my DH would try more foods if I made them look pretty like Kathleen's--but then I'd just get mad if I did all that and he wouldn't eat it! LOL
