I remember those amazing placemats you painted last year.. they are just so beautiful, and compliment your lovely dinnerware. I think the sherbert glasses were a great buy..they are really pretty too.

I know what you mean about the stemware from the D.T. and you're right. It's not as "sturdy" glass as some. I bought a set (the last 4 they had) and didn't even get them home and 1 had cracked [and I was very careful]. *sigh*
My friend the manager told me she would probably be getting some more in so now the survivors are put away until they get a friend. LOL
If not, they'll get donated and I'll find a different set.

Glad all of you enjoyed seeing it too. It's such a neat addition to my cherub collection, Karen really does know my tastes so well and is so thoughtful and generous. I think it will take up residence in my bedroom for awhile, it's too pretty to pack away for a year!

Thanks for the compliments on the tablescape--I enjoy doing it, but still am not truly confident about it--just try things until I think it looks good. OA, by all means feel free to use any ideas you like. I saw your pretty Valentine's table this morning and wondered why I didn't remember to use my rose petals on mine like you did on yours! LOL

Lynn, the tablecloth was another "treasure shopping" find several years ago--less than $5 and it is pretty heavy and really larger than I need for this table, but I love the way it looks hanging down longer over the sides--sort of more romantic I think. LOL

Thanks for the compliments on the painted placemats. That was just a "spur of the moment" idea that came to me for something to paint on while we were on a motorhome trip. I liked how they came out and really meant to find more to paint other things on--but haven't done so yet. I'm the world's worst procrastinator! LOL

Question for y'all....
since cherubs are little angels (unless they're Cupid with his bow and arrow, LOL), I put mine out for both Christmas and Valentines. BUT, what about Easter? Would any be appropriate for it as well. Besides the cutesy bunny look,
I also like that Easter is a more religious kind of holiday, and that makes me think of the little angels too.
Opinions, thoughts?
I adore my little cherubs and just like to display them, I know that part. LOL.

Karen, I think you can use your angels if you think they look good. I hadn't thought about it until I read this but you have good taste and we are living in the NOW. What didn't work years ago is so acceptable now. Takes me back to Jane's post about hats and gloves and dressing up for church. We could go on forever.

LOL, Punk, EASTER Sunday is when my parents and grandparents really insisted I dress up come to think of it.
A forgotten memory, thank you! (oh how I hated dresses, little white gloves, and fancy shoes tho, LOL. Couldn't wait to get home from church and get my jeans on and race outside.)

Looking at my Cherub, with the bunny, in my cloche, kind of makes me think they go together pretty good. So perhaps I will leave a cherub or two out for Easter this year.

I have a friend who has angels throughout her house. They decorate various rooms all year long and they look wonderful.

So I see no reason why you can't display them during the Easter season.

What a special gift. And of course I adore all the pink and the cherubs anytime of year.
