Don't celebrate - used to, some, when the kids were young. Don't remember whether I did for them after we parted, when they were 9 and 6, probably something to reassure them that Dad still loved them. Just dug out the fourth last chocolate mound, one of the box of cookies that my neighbours gave me for Christmas, cut it into about six thin slices that I've been enjoying while reading your stories. What's that? It isn't Val Day yet? Oh, well - that chocolate (those slices) sure tasted good! Think I may be able to leave at least one alone till next Thursday? ole joyful

Everything does look delicious, and congratulations on that new love, Ricky. What did I do here? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Well, mostly, I did stop and buy my Mother her favorite white chocolate/raspberry coffee drink. Elery is prepping for a colonscopy and diet is limited for five days before, which never was required previously. Mother had an echocardiogram, I did tell her that it was fitting to have a heart test on Valentine's Day, LOL. And so it came and went without so much as a cupcake, or heart shaped food of any type. Thank you Bumble, I got it on Etsy several years ago. Always wanted a 50’s look cloth but never found one that I would actually use, until that one surfaced. It’s in really good shape. I stretch and air dry it after washing to keep the fibers from bunching and the colors bright. I love your kantha too! One day I will find the perfect cloth for my blue and white table and I have always loved that elevated patchwork vibe.
