"I've decided to go ahead and speak to a lawyer about this. I could probably handle the court appearance without one, but want to see if there's anything I can do to protect myself from additional ID theft." I thought the BMV's computers were linked to a nationwide database. How could the BMV not see that you have a current drivers license in another state? Why would they allow this vehicle to be registered without the proper number of digits or correct address? Perhaps someone at the BMV (where you used to live) knows more than they are letting on? More food for thought...... Investigation reveals criminal backgrounds of BMV employees March 3, 2004 A criminal investigation into the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in 2003 resulted in the arrests of four BMV employees who turned out to have criminal records. The Eyewitness News Investigators decided to find out how many other BMV workers had questionable backgrounds. They spent weeks running criminal checks on more than 600 Marion County BMV employees and found it's not uncommon." I think hiring a lawyer is a good idea. I'd also freeze my credit report, file a police report and let my auto insurer know what is up, so its on the record in case you get pulled over or have any other ID theft related issues. Sounds like a pretty typical inspection report for a home built in 1930. Seems to me that this wanna be buyer doesn't have a clue about old homes and thinks they are being cute by posting this report. For a price in the ballpark of 150,000-165,000, I'd think this is a very fine house!

I tried to copy and paste from my excel form but as I have Genus, Species, and Cultivar in different columns, but it didn't paste very well. I was thinking of a berm on the south side (neighbour). Below are some photos of the corner, I have planted Picea pungens glauca 'Royal Knight' in the corner so far, but I struggled between that one and Pinus nigra due to the latter's density and size. As you can see in the photos, there are a couple of stumps that we have to deal with. The large one was a dead maple tree but we do not know how long ago it died, and the other was a nasty Buckthorn. To begin the project, after we cleared the area, we rebuilt the century old cedar post and split rail fence and put back the old wire fence against it. The stone wall doesn't extend all of the way to the fence as can be seen in the photo below. View from my porch. garage on the left and barn on the right. I took the pic as a truck happened to be driving by; across the street, the neighbour's vehicles in his driveway are also visible. Closer, planted 'Royal Knight' can be seen. Looking along the south side from the corner (new neighbours soon). Looking along the east wall Please excuse the mess as this is a work in progress. In the area, there is also a 20' diameter garden (existing) and in the centre I planted Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Pendula'.

I also have to find house numbers regularly (I'm a Realtor) and Joseph Corlett is right - have them large and illuminated and on the mailbox and the house. It is irritating to search for a property and find no numbers, no sign and then have to calculate the likelihood that I am choosing the right house to show to potential buyers. It happens more often than you can imagine especially in neighborhoods where there is an HOA and no signs are permitted and many of the houses look alike! However, the EMS service or other emergency service teams are a more important consideration. Keep the numbers large, simple font and illuminated with high contrast. Now, on to the shutters. They aren't sized right for your windows at all. Please read these two articles so you know what works. Yours shutters are too skinny. I do like the color of the shutters - but they could be much better if changed to the right size with hardware so they are functional looking: https://www.lifeofanarchitect.com/residential-architecture-101-shutters/ http://www.oldhouseguy.com/shutters/ ^See how the shutters are sized to each cover half of the window? Plus they have hinges and shutter dogs to make them look functional. These particular shutters may or may not be functional...but they look like they could cover the window.
