I'm sorry to hear about your scare with DH and hoping he is recovering nicely now.
You're story is a beautiful one and is clearly a love/friendship that has withstood the test of time in a very strong way.
Your table is absolutly STUNNING!! The chargers are gorgeous and the centerpiece ties in perfectly.
I'm not usually a pink person just because I can't seem to "tie it in" with any other color besides white correctly but you did a master job at it with this one. :)

Thank you all for the sweet words!

He got out of the hospital last Saturday and has been taking it easy this week. The doctor said he can begin getting back into his daily routine next week, so I guess he'll go back to work.

I can't even describe how badly he scared me! You should have seen me driving him to the hospital...I know I probably broke ALOT of traffic laws.

What a beautiful Pink Roses story, DG . . and what a nightmare of a scare you both had last week! I'm very happy that your DH is well and home again with you. Your table is just lovely! The handpainted chargers are unique and very pretty and the entire table looks so romantic. You've done a great job designing it!

Don't you have another set of painted chargers from your friend? I think I remember drooling over them last year and these are just gorgeous too. Using the clear plates is the perfect way to let the design show--very smart of you.

The chargers are beautiful. Be sure and tell your friend how much all of us loved them. Did you make your centerpiece? I love pink and thought your Easter table was pretty but this one is beautiful. I enjoy all of your tables.

That is a very romantic story and your table is just perfect and pink. Those chargers are beautiful and the dishes lovely, of course everything being pink doesn't hurt either. I hope DH is gonna be allright, I'm sure that was very scary.
