Hmmm, you are all so sweet about my painting, I think I'll work at getting things made this year so that by Christmas time next year I can send each of you a little something. I love to paint, and this will motivate me to quit procrastinating so much! LOL

Karen, what a haul you made and along with what Luvs brought you, it was wonderful to see everything! Such special treasures to remember a fun day meeting Luvs and sharing something you both love. I see you got an acrylic light-up tree! I have two of them and just love them. I really like those cylinder candle holders too - they have a much more unique design than mine. The Welcome sign that Luvs painted must have made such a sweet impression on you - having something she actually made and with the purple flowers, it is definitely for YOU! Even the word "Welcome" seems special when it was given to you on the occasion of your first face-to-face meeting.

Luvs, for you to even THINK of painting things for us, shows what a sweet person you are! I don't think you procrastinate, you are always posting pics of things you've done...and they are all super!

Again I think it is so wonderful to get to meet an internet friend face to face and exchange gifts. Your painting is very pretty Luvs. That is a craft that I have no talent for along with knitting and crocheting. I really admire someone who does. Karen thanks for sharing all your goodies - you got some really neat stuff. Your two Golfing Santas look like they're from the same company that made our Professor Santa. (My husband teaches history at our local Community College.) Someone gave him to us a couple of years ago. So now our hubbies can't complain their presence has been ignored over the Christmas holiday.

I like how you decorated inside your cloche for Christmas. You managed to get some height to the scene. Not an easy thing to do with only a few square inches of foundation with which to work. I'll have to remember the use of trees for my cloche next year.

You are right, the gingerbread houses and candle holders were Karen's finds at the antique mall, they sure are neat, aren't they? I know she will use them in a really neat vignette.

Not sure when our next motor home trip will be, maybe just some local places, and then in June we will be heading to Mo. for our family reunion on my brother's farm.

Well candle holders are so original, yes Karen will do something reat with them! And the gingerbread houses look like toys; a big return in the childhood, that has a very special taste.

We've something in common, Luvs, I'm unable to make flowers or plants grow; generally when I touch them, they die :-(

So prefer to watch them grow by themselves, lol.

I used to paint few years ago. Made some decorations for friends as well as for me; one day I'll take a pic of something I did and will post here but I'm not as talented as you are !

I love all your new things, especially that cobalt glass! I have that one Christmas craft book with the Santa on the cover, too. It's a good one. Congrats on all the new fun things!

Prosperity, I'd love to see some of your painted items. I just think of mine as crafty painting, other painters are waaay better. I just think we should do our best and enjoy the feeling of creativity, don't you?

Lynne, I really love that series of books. I need book one then I will have the first ten. Karen found it on Ebay for me, but I don't order online so I'm still watching for it when I go to TS. Someday, I'll hopefully run across one.
