We are in the middle of a huge house remodel, including the kitchen, and I'm so glad to have found this forum since its allowing me to research topics in record time! recap: House in a center hall colonial with a galley kitchen. We will be installing custom cream colored cabinets.

We are debating between the following gas cooktops - the 30" wolf, the 30" dcs, and, possibly the 36" bertazzoni. As much as we like the bertazzoni, we might eliminate it from contention since those 6" will make a huge difference on an already small countertop (even though we love the look we do not cook a lot so I'm thinking those 6" might not be important).

Are there any basic advantages of one over the other? Any experience with any of the brands? We are strongly considering the dcs since we can get a great price on it with the matching wall oven but I haven't read many reviews on it and it makes me a bit nervous.
