The teapot is cute. When you mentioned the Teleflora stamp on the bottom, I first thought it was at one time it was ordered from that floral business that sends a cute little arrangement in something besides an "average glass vase" anywhere you want. Maybe I'm thinking of some other company though.. (?)
Love the little green vase. I used the clear ones for my sisters wedding reception. I had 30 of them with a votive candle holder glued down in the middle, put a white candle in that and filled outside the votive holder with baby oil and put blue / silver glitter in it , then sat it on a mirror surrounded by white rose buds and blue/silver ribbon.

I think the teapot is adorable! I wonder if it is food safe if it was made to hold flowers??
Those other things have a name..Ivy Bowl?? They have them at Michael's for decorative use as Milosmom said above..

milosmom, I wondered if the teapot wasn't from a Teleflora flower delivery, but figured she'd keep it if it had been. And I also wondered if I could use a lit votive candle in the glass thing. I was worried that the glass would break from the flame. Your wedding reception arrangements sound beautiful! Did you use a standard height votive holder and were the candles lit? I never even thought of using it as a vase! I can picture marigolds in it now. :)

Your teapot is darling and I'm sure you can come up with some way to use it. I know I could.LOL I agree it came with flowers in it from a floral shop.

I have also used the rose bowls with different things in them for weddings, Christmas parties and firemans dinners. They can be decorated so many ways. I only have two and will share pictures when I don't have company.

kathleen_li, we must have been typing at the same time. :) It never occurred to me that the teapot might not be food safe or able to handle boiling water. It seems sturdy enough and is glazed on the inside of the pot too. Maybe I can learn something by searching a Teleflora site.

punk, so far that teapot is just sitting in a tray on top of my microwave. lol! I like it, but it doesn't 'fit' with much of anything else that I have, and I seldom drink tea.

PM: I didn't use the standard little votive holders because they were to short for the look I wanted but I managed to find some that were the same style but a little taller and used them.
We lit them and didn't have any problems with them getting hot or cracking.
