Guest Picks: Butter Up a Cottage Kitchen
Look to accessories in shades of butter yellow to bring cheery brightness to a homey kitchen
Every so often I'll come across an image from a decorating magazine that I just can't get out of my head. Lately, it's been images of rooms with one or two bright yellow items. What can I say, I'm inspired — OK, more like obsessed. While I love my neutral, all-white decor, I suddenly have the urge to add some cheerful yellow accessories into the mix. My tiny, north-facing kitchen could definitely use a little more sunshine. The following items can all be used individually or in combination with each other, can be added or removed whenever the mood strikes and, last but not least, are oh so charming. — Sarah from Cozy Cottage Cute
