Double vanity sink drain size
Comments (5)I know that this reply is 11 years too late, but the answer to your question is yes, 1 1/2 inch branch drain pipe is sufficient to drain 2 master bath sinks in your situation. Per International Residential Code 2015, P3005.4.1 Branch and Stack Sizing (which references Table P3005.4.1), a 1 1/2 inch drain pipe can handle up to 3 drain fixture units in a horizontal direction; and 4 drain fixture units in a vertical direction (as long as the source is not a water closet). A single bathroom sink/lavatory drain is 1 drain fixture unit; therefore a 1 1/2 inch drain will accommodate a double bathroom sink vanity. Make sure you follow P3005.1 Drainage Fittings and Connections (and the reference Table P3005.1) which specifies the proper pipe connections/fittings to use to connect it all together....See Morewhat size mirrors should be used above a 66" double sink vanity?

Comments (5)If a "smaller" 36 inch medicine cabinet is okay for you, I would suggest the Jensen Granville (755379). It already has lights attached to it and comes in he same color and classic style as your vanity. Also a bit narrower, just 32 inch, but more modern and elegant is the Lighted Vanity Mirror by Mirrors and Marble: Matchin your style perfectly and fiitin in size as it is 48 inch wide is the Concord by Design House. In terms of scale I would take the last one. Add 3 or 4 lights and enjoy. Hint: The more diffuse the light source, the more beautiful you look in your new bathroom cabinet ;)...See MoreWhat size mirrors would you suggest for a 72" double vanity?
Comments (6)Kathy, the basic rule for mirrors is 2-4" less than a vanity, so if you have a 72" vanity total, it's made up with 36" individual vanities, and if you going with a single vanity your mirror should be approximately 32-34". Configurations can be made in many ways, here are a few layout examples with the dimensions just to give you an idea. Good luck...See Moremimi78
