beautiful! Really love the tile.

Personally, I like pale gray grout. It looks really sharp, and stays looking good whereas white grout tends to go yellow, despite all the best cleaning efforts. i don't know whether or not sealing the grout helps that, but I know that there are people on here who could tell you more.

How pretty, I love everything about it, crisp and clean love it. Are you putting in an oversized mirror? I love the oversized sink. I agree about seeing it all come together, it's very exciting. Please post your photos when mirror goes in.

I know nothing about selecting grout color, but I do want to say that your bathroom is great- very smart.

It is a fairly narrow bathroom, which is why we opted for the long, but shallow and wall mounted sink. Now there's more floor so the room looks a lot larger. Next time I will post the before photo too.

jjazzy - To get extra storage, my builder said he would do a custom medicine cab for same price as purchasing one. They already made the door and we're just waiting for the shelves and mirror. Since we had to demo and redo walls, plumbing etc. he was able to make the cabinet deeper than standard.

I will post photos when (and if - ha, ha) we ever get done. The towel bars and lights are sitting on the floor right now. The shower escutcheon screws and one diverter screw were missing so have to wait on those too.

Looks very nice!! I really appreciate seeing photos like this as I'm deciding what to do with my bathroom project - especially tile. I'm curious - why do you have the shower spray offset on the side like that?

The handshower on the side wall is probably a mistake I will regret. The plumber thought that was a better placement than on the showerhead wall for some reason and I just said okay. i think he thoguht it was a little tight on the rear wall.

Depending on my mood that day and what is going on that day, sometimes I am really nitpicky and precise with every little construction decision and other time it's just "fine, wahtever you think."

- I vote to keep the white grout. I do not like contrasting grout in general. It will ruin the calmness that you have created with the all the beautiful elements.

- I would keep all the white tiles vertically stacked. No horizontal ones.

Just beautiful!! I love the all white look. The accent tiles make it pop. Where did you find your sink? We could use one like that in our guest bathroom which is narrow.

ctreno, one advantage I could see for the placement is that the hose would not get caught up on the controls when you're using it. Do you also have a regular shower head up above the controls? I'm thinking about just having the one movable hand held spray to double as the shower head and hand held - to cut down on "clutter" in my very small bathroom. What kind of hand held is that? I like the looks of that for what I am thinking about. Is it easy to use and adjust - or maybe you don't know yet.

The sink, faucet, tub spout and just hand shower arm (not the bar) are all from Porcelanosa. The handshower bar is Waterworks. I know that seems weird. Waterworks had a huge sale near in our area last spring (can't believe I've had the stuff that long) and I bought a bunch of things before I even knew what we were really doing/look we were planning. However, it had a black handle. So I swapped out the handshower itself. It was still cheaper than buying any of the regular mid-range brands. When I looked at the bar, however, it seemed to go with the shape of the tub spout, so I kept that.

Porcelanosa had a huge sale just before Tgiving, so we bought a bunch of other stuff including the master bath tile, yet to be installed.

The sink is called Taiga. It can also be purchased as Shira with a vanity. The brand name on the products is Noken, which I guess Porcelanosa bought or they have a partnership. Anyway, I think they are struggling, and fairly disorganized, so if you have a dealer near you, you should be able to get at least 30-40% most products.

I debated a lot about doing just movable hand shower instead of fixed and movable - does seem kind of redundant - but I know when I shower, I like having the fixed head even if there is a handshower. I did want the handshower in that bath for washing the dog, which I find a real pain without a handshower!
