Our company stocks and sells Mr. Direct sinks. We love the sinks, great quality for a great price. However, I ordered a faucet (the first one we've ever ordered) for my personal home. When I got it, I was extremely dissatisfied. The grain of the brushed finish went in several different directions, there was burn marks in some areas, and the overall quality was unacceptable. Being a supplier for them, I dont like saying things like this, but that was MY experience. They do have an excellent return policy and we have never had toruble returnign anything. I decided to just go to Home Depot and get a faucet there. This issue I had was a year and half ago, so it is very likely things have changed. If you order a faucet and are unhappy with it, I find it highly unlikey you will run into any trouble exchanging or returning it.

We have a very similar store brand faucet that we bought at Ferguson's. I liked the idea of buying a store brand from a retailer that sells high end products. One of the reasons that the price would be lower on a store brand is that there is no advertising budget, just like buying a store brand at Whole Foods or Saks Fifth Avenue. I don't know them, but saw this post and went to their site. I looked at the category of "Single Lever" and noticed some faucets say stainless steel ball cartridge (model ED1571AL), some say ceramic disk cartridge (ES1571BLLS and ES8711DLLS). The last model I mentioned says "brass construction" but the other 2 models did not say brass construction. I'm no expert and just searching for a faucet myself, but I believe soild brass construction and ceramic disk cartridge are preferred. I stumbled across a company called Sigma, but have not heard anything about their brand. I emailed them because I had not seen anything about their construction metal, and they responded that their faucets have solid brass construction.

Anyone have any experience with Cascade Faucets. I'm considering buying the Konvex 17787. It looks great and is priced in the Hansgrohe ballpark but I just haven't heard much about them. If anyone has any feedback I'll be most appreciative. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
