I cut my long hair in August,now my hair takes me seconds to do. As for makeup-none on a daily basis. It just rubs off on my surgical mask at work. For a night out, or if I want to impress my makeup takes me 10 minutes but I rarely wear it. I am lucky that at 52 I have good skin. Still nice and tight (on my face that is). My only issue is brown spots from sun exposure while golfing, but that is easily covered. I learned my lesson and religiously wear spf 50 from oil of olay regenerist every day.

I watched the video the other night and then watched a bunch more for older women. I'm 52 and don't wear makeup much at all. Especially at work. I quit wanting to take all that time fixing my face every morning. I already had to get up so early and didn't get home till late....so I stopped. It'd been a couple, 3 or 4 years? since I had worn makeup at work and then I wore it a couple months ago. People were coming up to me and making comments about me wearing makeup. I really didn't like the attention. No one said I should do it more often or that it looked good, just exclaimed that I was wearing it. That kind of freaked me out and I haven't worn it since. Then I watched those videos and I wore some last night when Lauren and I went out to eat. ( She's home on spring break.) Then today I bought some nude shade of lipstick and some face cream since after putting on the foundation last night I could see every wrinkle in my face. The mascera was bugging the crap out of me, though. i finally washed my face so I could get rid of that. If I get up early enough tomorrow I may put some makeup on.

However, I use it with this foundation even-bettertm-makeup-broad-spectrum-spf-15 when I know I will be seen by others and the cast is invisible with the foundation. Both go on easy-peasy and I'm out the door in two minutes. Three, if I am putting on mascara. I wait a minute for the sunscreen to set before I put on the foundation. I use a beauty blender to apply the foundation. Clinque is showing some nice looking deep shades for the foundation. For facial cleansing, I tend to use Cetaphil cleanser or Johnson's baby wash or shampoo. It works well for me. If I am taking off make-up the Clinque Mild bar soap gets it all off. The small bar lasts me over a year so don't let the price tag of a small bar of soap scare you away if you wanted to try it.

I've been looking for a tinted lip balm--thanks for the Elf and Burt's Bees recommendations. I don't care for lipstick and only wear it a few times a year. I like some color, but I certainly don't need anything that lasts more than a few hours. After I drink/eat in public, I'm always prepared to reapply. I had a BB lip balm pre-Covid and really liked it. I have fine hair, and have been using a hair care line from my stylist that's very good but pricey. I ran out a few months ago, and it wasn't convenient at the time to get more. In a pinch, I bought this Pacifica Vegan Silk shampoo and the conditioner from Target. They are great products for my hair, and I now rotate them with the more expensive stuff from my stylist.
