Brad's Black Heart...it's always made me wonder, did a man named "Brad" develop the tomato, or did a woman who was wronged by a man named "Brad" develop the tomato? ***** Actually Brad Gates in CA found this black heart in a field planted with I think Black Krim's, but I'd have to check that out to be sure if it really matters. Jasdip Not an eyewash in the sense that you would flush your eyes with it. I should have said eyelid scrub. The procedure is to dilute a few drops of Baby Shampoo with warm water and do a light scrub of the inner rim of the eye with a cotton swap or pad. I found it got rid of all make-up residue so I just wet my fingertips and use a few drops of baby shampoo for removing my make-up just as you would any water soluble eye makeup remover. The link explains it if you scroll down to the bottom of the page and read the self care procedure. You are correct about oils around the eye. CRACKED - ROSIE and I first started making poly clay tiles and mosaics inspired by Laurie before we went full fledged into traditional mosaics. We also took her workshop last year in Dallas. It was hard to realize the size of her pieces cuz of her wonderful photography, but most of her pieces are so teensy. Check the sizes of her finished pieces. She uses a lot of jewelry and found objects in her mixed media pieces. I bought one of her pieces cuz I love her work so much. 'tweren't cheap!!! I DO love Clair's work also. It was that snake path and those fabulous colors that first made me want a kiln, but I think I better stick to what I'm doing. More and more tools won't give me more and more time and energy to mosaic.

@shirlpp Thanks. That's about all I've come up with as well. Beyond NYT Wirecutter, most "best [anything]" sites that come up on the first few pages of Google seem to be referral link sites written by paid per post writers to get as many Amazon and similar referral links on their site as possible, rather than by expert reviewers sharing testing data or personal experience and insight. Even Wirecutter has been going a bit more so that way since being acquired by NYT. I'm hoping some people with experience with multiple brands will chime in here so we can all befit from the discussion.
