Shee, the vaseline is for immediate relief and repair. You use a small amount and rub it in. As far as clogging pores, if you have normal to dry skin it will be fine. Try it once when you don't have to go anywhere. Raven, I put Vit. E on my face one time and had a bad reaction. Now I'm afraid to put any type of oil on it. Cindy, I read Vaseline works wonders for skin repair. I think I'll use it tonight. Thanks!

Erica - yes, I used Mont Krest for granite and Marla Davidson Tile for the Encore. I needed about 20 sf and paid about $150 to have it shipped to my home. I can tell you that the packing and shipping were perfection and not one tile was damaged in any way. It is really pretty tile, and while I could have been perfectly happy with a a subway tile for half the price, there is something so lovely in the shading of this tile that I have no regrets about this little extravagance! I tried several primers and none really did it for me. Maybe I didn't let it set long enough before applying my foundation. ? Plus, I found my face greasy a few hours later. I've noticed when I use a heavier greasier moisturizer, my foundation doesn't look good, you see all my pores etc. If I use a lighter moisturizer...much much better. Just this week, I just started using Rose Hip oil. I just picked up an inexpensive bottle at Marshalls. I tried mixing it with my foundation but I think I used too much and it made my foundation settle in my lines after a few hours. But I do like it alone after washing my face. I tend to be fairly sensitive to new lotions, oils etc. but the Rose Hip oil doesn't seem to bother my skin.

I wash my face in the shower with whatever bar soap I'm using, like Dial. I wore makeup as a teen and washed with Noxema. I loved getting a deep tan and never used sunscreen. Only after sun lotions on my body. My laying out day are long past, now I get a farmer's/equestrian tan. I rarely wear makeup at all these days but in the last couple of years I've started to wear a lightweight BB Cream w/sunscreen, by E.L.F. They've discontinued it and I don't know what I will replace it with when my stash runs out. The new version is thick and disgusting. I guess it's the luck of the genes. At 72 I do have a few age spots but few wrinkles. Just a bit of light forehead creases and a few under eye. Most people take me for far younger than I am. I actually have to remind some that I can't do certain things any longer because I am "old". I have never used special anti aging products. My observation is they don't seem to do much good. I recall back around 20 years ago a younger woman in a cosmetics aisle stopped and asked me what products I used since she liked my skin. I told her nothing. Just water based makeup without sunscreen or added chemicals. Special cleanser? Nope. Moisturizer? Only rarely if it felt tight after weather exposure and that would be a cheap "non oily" moisturizer geared to teens. If I not showering I use a baby wipe or one of those wet and foam disposable cleaning cloths. I found a lightweight non oily moisturizer on Amazon I use once in a while for the same purpose these days.
