I came across to this beautiful set of Chinese Gold Plated Jingtai-lan/Cloisonné spoons and forks. How much do you think this set is worth? I heard about Jingtai-lan before, but I wasn't sure about the value of it. The seller set the price to $25 to begin with. In the long run, it will cost you less, not to mention you can expand your horizons with other designs and fonts. If you machine came with an embroidery unit and hoop, then you can do machine embroidery so you might have to spend some quality time with that machine feature. What model Bernina do you have? People with your model machine can help you with the type of software you will need (might save you money there as the software is expensive and can't be returned once opened should you get the wrong software) or may have some tips and tricks to help with your projects. The other things not mentioned are embroidery needles and different sized hoops. The needles aren't too bad, the hoops can get expensive. At sewingworld.com, there is a whole section for machine embroidery and also a tab for Bernina in the machines section that might answer many of your questions...just be sure to give them your Bernina model number so you will get exact answers instead of helpful general comments.

How recent and how accurate is your assessment? I don't know if your is similar to ours. Ours has dropped more than 10% over the last two years in recognition of lower sales prices. In our area the assessment is pegged unusually close to market value, and we are assessed annually. Is property close to town more desireable in your area? Better schools? (Some people would prefer to be farther away from some towns.) Is the farther-flung construction newer? If you don't have to sell, wait. You may wait several years until the market recovers though -- depending on local conditions. There is a glut of housing yet to come on the market nationally -- failed mortgage loans that banks have yet to own up to and claim. How far below asking price is the offer? (Percentage please.)

Well apparently I stink at this and don't see issues with furniture. :p I guess I need to work on that. Looking at these few now. This is kind of a walk through Boop's learning how to buy used furniture thread or furniture in general I Think. I like this set from Vanguard. I think I read that is a decent name. I don't know why but I really like the warmth of the orange. It says Best offer and is from furniture land south. I have no idea what is reasonable to offer. I really like these, but I think the arms might be too high for everyday use.... These look too lumpy right? this is a pair of Baker sofas. Good price I think. Velvet, but I love that and the price is so good I think I could deal with that and the cleaning or recovering the cushions at some point. To the person who said I was all over the place it is true. There is really nothing I am married to in this room ATM besides The IKEA birch expedit shelves and the TV. Well and the brick fireplace (we are thinking of putting in a pellet stove there) I am planning to paint the walls BM windswept. I think it will go with many colors and the kitchen which this room is open to. We currently have a sofa and loveseat. The sofa is shot (very ripped, not worth repairing I think) and the loveseat is OK. A cheap set overall.
