Bath Fan Replacement (other than through attic)

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I would like to replace (upgrade) bath fans in our three bathrooms. Unfortunately, two of the baths are at the far end of the house, and the attic access is through the garage at the opposite end of our (very long) ranch home; also, I don't want to compress the blown-in insulation by putting plywood down all the way to the other end of the house.

Is there a way to replace a bath fan without having to climb up through the attic, or re-vent through a wall (impossible since our home is brick)?

I looked at the Broan/NuTone fan "replacement kits" ("guts only, that is, motor, fan, etc. only) at Home Depot/Lowes, but our present fans are (2) Miami-Carey (out of business) and one is NuTone, a model not listed on the fan replacement kits. Also, it looks like they have a new fan "plate" which is square, and our old fans are all rectangular.

Are there any bath fans that can be installed from below, rather than having to nail them to the rafters from above?

Any other ideas, besides ear muffs?

Thanks.
