Yes, I have used it for awhile now. I was looking for something cheaper than Bare Escentuals, which I like. The L'Oreal is nice, but not as good as the BE. They had a 2 for 1 introductory offer. It's not milled as finely as BE and is not as shiney. I have a nice kaubki brush that I use to apply it. I gave one jar to my sister who did not like the color of the BE on her, too yellow. The L'Oreal has a nice lighter color that is not a yellowish tint. Try it and see what you think. As I said, I did not use their brush for application.

Well an "itch" I could deal with, this BURNED like my face was on fire. I had to wash it off. I had previously tried mineral make-up at the counter of one of the BE stores and it did sort of itch a bit and 'felt funny' all the way home. Even with the cheap stuff I bought and tried back in May I was acutely aware of something being on my face, sort of 'itchy'. Even if I use the mineral make-up without scrubbing my face first I am thinking that this stuff ain't too safe for the eyes or lungs should any find their way there. I've already decided to toss it and go back to using pancake make-up as a foundation. Just a 'heads-up' to anyone who may be concerned with contact lenses.

My niece said her skin has never been better but she wasn't sure she could ONLY credit bare minerals since she also recently changed her birth control pills. I've been using the bare minerals now for about 1 month and love it more every day. It did take a little time (for me at least) to figure out how to get the best results. It is very easy to use too much since using just a tiny bit seems so counter intuitive. Now I start out with a small amount of foundation powder and buff, buff, buff that onto my whole face. Even though I now have several red spots on my face from post-menapausal acne and age spots, the foundation alone does a pretty good job of covering everything. For those spots that still peek through, I touch up with a cover-up powder they call bisque, and then buff again with the foundation brush. I also use the bisque to highlight under my eyebrows, along the sides of my nose, and between my eyes and cheek bones. A tiny bit of one of the blush powders buffed onto the cheek apples, a bit of eye shadow, and I'm set to go. I first purchased their second lightest color #2, since I've never considered myself extra light, however I went back and bought the #1.2 which is the lightest shade and like that better. You can also blend the two together right on the brush. I did purchase the Mineral Veil that can be used on top of everything else to give a matte finish, but I don't always use it. The eye shadow and blush powders are very flexible and some can be used interchangeably. You can also wet an eyeliner brush and turn any of the colors into eyeliner, or dip any lip gloss into them and add a touch of color to the lips. This stuff really is remarkable - it is so light and easy to wear. I'll never use a liquid foundation again.

If you turn over the leafs you will see tiny white eggs. They are deposited by a fly and when they hatch they start borrowing through the leaf membranes. You'll need to squash the eggs before they hatch. I was very diligent and checked every leaf which was easy enough since I'm just growing enough for for a 2 person household. I'm sure this won't be a reasonable thing to do if you were growing dozens of plants. After I squashed them all, I removed the affected leafs and discarded them. I'm sure they are edible if you can get past the ick factor. Maybe someone else can chime in on this. Then I covered my chard (and kale) with tulle that I purchased from a fabric store. Since then no more leaf miners and no cabbage moths on the kale either ! I got this idea from a fellow board member. You can also get insect cover such as agribon row covers which have been discussed in this board several times. Good luck
