My salon is now carrying the skin care products by Pure Essentials. There was no brochure for the products available and I would like to know if anyone is using this line and if you like it. One item by PE is Vitanol-A, a skin repairing booster with retinol, the owner said is absolutely great for your skin. I searched online and can not find anything about PE only infor on PE oils and soaps. Can anyone provide me more info on PE skin care products? Thanks

I love benzoin, liquidamber orientalis & balsam of peru. I love their smokiness & healing stickiness & vanilly-ness. Lavender, however, goes into virtually everything I make. I keep it by the stove to dash on burns & plop it in my witch hazel to wash my face. Rosemary because it brings me back to the earth. Clary because it reminds me of my grandmother's closet. I'm a soapmaker with an herbalist's life long love of plants-- I have hundreds of oils... I could go on all night. P.S. Very rarely you can find lily of the valley as an absolute (solvent extraction) or an enfleurage (totally long & involved process which does not in the least resemble the one in the movie Parfum). I have never found honeysuckle in any aromatic capacity, but good luck!

Try Gain, they're noted for having the scent stay in clothes. Tide's regular formulas are also pretty heavily scented too. P&G's marketing plan is Tide for the best cleaning, Cheer for colors, Gain for a scent in clothes, Dreft for babies and Ivory was sort of an all around old name that keeps selling, I think! One thing, the new "2x" Gain is supposed to keep the smell in the clothes better. Also check out some of the "Joyful Expressions" Gain. There's been a lot of people crazy about the Apple Mango scent. I think you're having a machine that's really rinsing out the detergent! I personally look for the opposite. No smell from the wash!

I have used different essential oils in wax melts and the scent is fine. I think those looking for a natural candle or wax melt will be happy. Obviously, lavender and other florals work well. I have also done peppermint and some with vanilla since I found a fantastic vanilla. No mistake it is Pure Essentials on the label. I purchase Sothy's skin care products at this salon and did purchase the PE eye cream and PE pineapple facial scrub both pricy. I 'm a sucker to try any new product. Thought I could find reviews online just like anyother product but unable to. I know about the Downy/soap, etc but looks like this product doesn't even exist. I will ask the owner when I go back next week. She says all her customers love it just like Sothy's, but who knows, probably just a sale's pitch. Thanks and sorry about the double posting. Just too anxious I guess.

Found my answer. PE is made by Raya Labs in Hollywood, CA and sold under private label. www.rayalab.com Appears to be good product.
