It probably won't have enough flow to work. That was my experience with those and drip irrigation. I used to use one with about 2000 feet to T-tape, and it had enough flow volume to pick up the fertilizer when the lines were filling, but once the system got up to pressure and was just dripping even that wasn't enough flow to make it siphon. My solution to that issue was to mix the concentrate really, really strong, and it would take up a fair amount, several gallons, and then dilute it out with a couple of hours of watering. But I wouldn't advise trying that on potted plants, I was doing this in a large vegetable garden on field soil.

tobyt - we have/use one. DH has cancer genes (the astro sign not the illness) and he THINKS he saves money. We do go thru a significant amount of soda but personally I'm not so sure about the savings not to mention the mess. This present incarnation - an Isi - cost about $100 so it may be awhile before their are any 'significant savings'. :-) I think it's way more trouble than it's worth. DH seems attached to them. I keep giving them away and he keeps buying them again. Sigh. I guess the health benefit is you don't get the salt intake that you find in regular soda. As well we have GREAT well water. If we were on regular chlorinated water, I'd likely pass (and try to get him to do likewise). :-)

I would probably drink the beer or have a glass or more of the wine, while it is cooling. Just a thought. :) I can remember angel food cakes cooling on those tall Coke bottles-I was always astounded that they never fell out of the pan while cooling. And I always thought there must be some kind of "magic" involved with getting it out of the pan, if it wouldn't fall while cooling. I have never attempted an angel food cake, but I remember my Mom, Grandma and aunts baking them. Yummy!

I don't think it would work. We have a can crusher mounted on wall studs beside of our recycling tubs. Because it has an arm that swings up and must swing out and down, it would take up way too much cubic space for a cabinet. Plus I don't think anyone would want to get down on their knees, reach up in a cabinet and crush cans. Do you have a utility room?
