Ummmm...don't breathe???? LOL Wanda, I had to re-read your post cuz I thought you said "frog truck". Now THAT'S a mental image! I've been using "Cutter" for years and have found it to work wonderfully well. We even went out to the lake on the 4th of July till 10 p.m. and were not bitten because we sprayed Cutter on our skin & clothes. I could see their little silhouettes hovering 12 inches away....just waiting. Little vampires! If I'm working out in the yard (we have a conservation area behind us with standing water, so they are swarming!), I reapply if I've been sweating a lot, usually about every hour or so with water breaks.

Hope I can get some! There are quite a few I buy on there. Usually we get the Smart Source or P&G.

Very sorry to hear about your experience aa1notary. I have no experience whatsoever with that product nor any bias one way or the other, but most often times water infiltration is due to installation issues as opposed to the product itself. The video has expired, but it sounds like perhaps you have horizontal sliders? Something as simple as caulked over or clogged weep holes could cause water to accumulate in the sill... Again, sorry to hear about your experience. I'd recommend having the installation company out to inspect, and possibly in conjunction with that manufacturer rep so that they cannot each blame each other when the other is not present.

ReptiTherms are good, reliable heaters and should last years if you treat them right. Attach them to something stiff. They won't tolerate being bent back and forth like a medical heat pad. They're made to be stuck to the underside of a aquariums. Other heaters will work just as well, I'm sure. I also have seed warmers. They don't get nearly warm enough. And I use a microwaveable disk, but it has to be microwaved several times a day. Medical heat pads are warm enough, but newer ones shut off automatically after an hour. Reptitherms are available in different sizes, which is nice. The small one could even be stuck to the side of a pot. Other reptile heaters like heat rocks and so on might work. I might even try adding top heat, like a thermal bulb or ceramic heater to see if that helps even more.
