Holiday adult punch

Hi all, I am looking for something good that will apeal to everyone from 23 to 45. I am looking for an alcoholic punch, and maybe something kinda simple that could be what we "do" for holidays. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is very good!

Vodka Slush Party Punch

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups white sugar
7 cups water
2 tablespoons instant tea powder
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups cold water
2 cups vodka
1 liter lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

DIRECTIONS:
In a 6 quart pot combine sugar and 7 cups water. Bring to boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in tea powder while hot. Add orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate and 2 cups cold water. Chill in refrigerator.
When cold mix in vodka. Pour into a plastic container leaving room on top for expansion. Freeze or 24 hours.
To serve, scoop about 1 cup into a tall glass and quickly stir in 1/3 cup lemon-lime soda.

Scarlet O'Hara served in a punch bowl
4 parts cranberry juice to 1 part Southern Comfort....
Float lots of lime slices in the bowl and place a plate of slices to the side.

Thanks MethodDesigns. I did bring it up when we first moved in, but I was brushed off and told that it was typical. Since living in the house for a while, I have been bothered more and more by it. I have paid more attention to other people's doors too, and ours seem to have a larger gap. However, you're exactly right. We do have taller ceilings and hardwood floors. I'm struggling to determine how much of our sound issue is the doors vs the ceilings/floors. FWIW- At our 6 month punch list, I overheard the carpenters talking about the doors in another house. The future owner of that house thought the doors were all cut too short and wanted them replaced. I'm assuming their doors were the same as ours since it was the same carpenter. I do not know what the resolution was.

I make this punch for Thanksgiving. The kids love having their own special drink, and it's not too sweet for adults (who have been known to lace their individual cups with a splash of vodka...) APPLE HARVEST PUNCH 2 Cups Chilled Cranberry Juice (not as sweet as the cocktail) 2 Cups Apple Cider 1 l/2 Cups Orange Juice 2 Cups Chilled Club Soda The recipe I found calls for thin orange slices and frozen cranberries to be floated in it. But in place of frz. cranberries, I usually freeze additional cranberry juice in a ring mold and put that in before serving to help keep chilled without diluting. And in place of the oranges, I very thinly slice red delicious apples crosswise and float them in the punch. Doing apples instead of oranges sets you up for the "red" flavors that make it a holiday punch. They also differentiate it from all the citrus/sherbert punches.

the punch sounds fairly sweet to me so if i was going to try to "doctor it", i'd probably add in something more tart, like unsweetened cranberry juice. i've posted this one a dozen times before and i don't believe anyone has tried it, but i really like it alot and therefore, will post it again. with my usual warning that because it seems so light and frothy, it's easy to overdo and id' hate to see anyone drink more than a couple glasses of this and get into a car!
