Look for a book called "Ribbon Knits," by Judi Alweil. I'm pretty sure there are one or two t-shirts in there. Also try Crystal Palace's website: http://www.straw.com/cpy/free_patterns.html There are a couple of nice patterns in the pullover section. Links to more free patterns below as well. If you are looking for yarn, try elann.com. Do a search for ribbon, and you should find a number of nice yarns on sale. Good luck! Here is a link that might be useful: Short sleeve sweater patterns

Shouldn't they sell the shirts with the company name/logo ... ... for half price?? (Instead of double ... due to their so-called ... and much vaunted ... great rep)?! And made, in almost all cases, for peanuts ... by (almost) slave labour. ole joyful P.S. I have one, don't know where it appeared from, as I haven't been anywhere within a dozen miles of that agency, captioned, "U.S. NAVY". There's one put out by my Dad's family, that have had an annual family reunion for over 110 years ... and one from Mom's, that began reunions every three years, about 30 years ago (most recent one was at brother's farm in Saskatchewan). Wear 'em to the gathering. o j

I wear long pants and long sleeve shirts during the sun months (for protection). My dermatologist told me that I must protect from sun burn and tannning. He said that I was running risk of skin cancers even if I exposed gently. He said that for me a tan and skin damage were tightly coupled. He told me that i should apply protective lotion when I ventured out this summer. He had performed a peel on my face earlier this year to remove pre-cancerous cells and a couple of dark spots. I may have looked strange to my neighbors this summer since I wore a straw hat while mowing my lawn. I know; My attire was old style or maybe a better descriptor was no-style.

I am a t-shirt person! I like Talbot’s Pima cotton t-shirts. I have short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, and long sleeves. I do not dry them in the dryer. However, I do throw them in for 5 minutes on low heat with a dryer sheet then hang on a folding rack to dry. This past season (winter) I found them to be quite long, almost too long. I’ve also bought Land’s End. They are quite long. The Pima cotton is soft, but it might be a tad thin. I bought t-shirts from LLBean several years ago. I liked the fabric but found the shirts to be a bit short and the sleeves were closer to cap sleeves than short sleeves.
