Yesterday, I saw a lady with boots, jeans, and a leather jacket. I had on shorts and flip flops :o) She made me sweat when I saw her :o)

His metabolism may be slowing down. I know mine is - it was 85 and sunny here, today - I have on long socks, long pants and wore a sweater most of the day.

When I used to live in Beaufort, SC, we would chuckle at the tourists visiting for the winter holidays who would wear shorts, flip flops, and tee shirts no matter what the temperatures were. 50s? Didn't matter.

My husband tends to wear shorts well into cold temperatures, too. I can go for a long time before I reach for a jacket. I'd rather be cool than over heated.

It was warm and sunny here in B'ham and in the hi 70's and low 80's.

Not a day for boots, blue jeans and a leather jacket.

Funny when it gets into the mid and upper 50's in the Spring..PNWers will often don the shorts and flip flops...
But when it drops to that temp in the Fall..we are in sweaters, pants and boots...

In the 60's today with snow still on the ground in the SW section of the state and into parts of SD. Kind of sweater time but turning very wet tomarrow and windy.

Terri...I TOTALLY get that! That doesn't seem the least bit odd to me.

My XH wore shorts all winter and it gets plenty cold here.

I always giggle at the kids at the bus stop on the first warm day in spring. They dress like its the Fourth of July.

My elderly mom is freezing all the time. It is so hot in her house you could die.

I play golf 3 or 4 times a week year round. I always wear
shorts. The temps I play in range 40-95.
(Though I'll have on a knit cap and gloves!)
The only time I wear long pants is if I have to dress formal. lol

I wear long pants and long sleeve shirts during the sun months (for protection). My dermatologist told me that I must protect from sun burn and tannning. He said that I was running risk of skin cancers even if I exposed gently. He said that for me a tan and skin damage were tightly coupled. He told me that i should apply protective lotion when I ventured out this summer. He had performed a peel on my face earlier this year to remove pre-cancerous cells and a couple of dark spots.

I may have looked strange to my neighbors this summer since I wore a straw hat while mowing my lawn. I know; My attire was old style or maybe a better descriptor was no-style.

Everyone has different body temperatures. Yesterday it was in the high 70's and I went shopping with a long sleeve cotton sweater with a cardigan on top. Stores are always chilly to me. I heard a lady in the grocery store say it's cold in here but I was comfortable.

People wear flip flops in the snow up here in Ohio. There has never been a time at the mall that I haven't seen someone in shorts no matter how cold it is. They may have on a coat but they will have on shorts. We just point and laugh...well in our heads we do...HAHA!

I strongly remembered the day when I was in college and one guy came in a black jeans with a white scarf on his leg and you all won't believe I'd seen two of my friends wearing the same type of jeans and a scarf on there legs,, so we can't predict what people would wear in a fashion.

Here in New England it's not uncommon to see a person lightly attired in cold temps. In a half an hour you see people in shorts, tees, tights and sweaters, heavy jackets etc. It's just how it is here.
