Southeast Pennsylvania is full of antique shops, I'm told, most of them high-end.

There's a place in Beach Lake (Wayne County), in the northeast corner of the state, that I've been meaning to visit for years. It's called the Hoosier Emporium, and the phone number is (570) 729-7080. I believe the owner's name is Mr. Zipoli. Perhaps he can tell you if he has what you need. Wayne County has a number of antique dealers, but it's not nearly as upscale as the Bucks County area further south.

Try a google search with general terms, like "antiques" and "Pennsylvania". A lot of areas list shopping on their tourism websites, and antiqueing is big business.

Lancaster county is a haven for antiques. I know you have left already but, maybe you have access to a computer and can read this. Specifically- Adamstown, Pa.- off Pa, turnpike exit 286. 2 miles north on route 272- Stroutburg on left- Called Strout's Black Angus Antiques Mall. There's over 500 dealers there and is a delight for antique hunters. It's midway between Reading and Lancaster.
I just love this mall. It's only open on Sundays from 7:30 to 4 PM. I haven't gone there this year-YET.
There are many other places in Lancaster, also.

Thanks Alisande for the info about the Hoosier Emporium. I called the number of the gentlemen who, as it turns out, only sells complete sets. He did give me the info on Adamstown that mrsflowers was nice enough to inform me about. I did go up to Adamstown and found out that Strout's and Rennigers are both only open on Sundays. This, of course, after arriving on a Friday afternoon! The encouraging part is all the dealers that I did speak with all said I can find the bottom half - just keep looking. I'm planning a weekend jount back to Adamstown soon.

New Hope PA (Bucks County) is good if you are in the area. Too pricey for me but then again, I'm cheap, and my idea of antique is probably a bit different than yours! LOL Also, across the border in Lambertville, NJ is another good area.

New Oxford Pa theres alot of shops.We like to do the spring and fall shows Carlisle Pa is a good one.Rennigers has a spring and fall show.

New hope's great to look, but it's a real tourist trap as far as prices go- has been for years.

Lambertville across the river is actually more interesting, and no more expensive (and pheonix books is always worth a trip :)

however, the drive up river from New Hope to Upper Black Eddy is worth the trip all by itself, stopping at antique stores all the way- cross over at Center Bridge, stop in Stockton for a look around... it's easier if you're not a local to drive up the Pennsy side, and cross each bridge as you come to it, then come back over to drive to the next town...

I live in Bucks, but do most of my antiquing in Berks county- allentown/bethlehem/easton has some great shopping, moravian antiques, old iron work and textiles- and then you head west towards Kutztown on old 222, there are a few shops along the way, you'll come in to town, the first light has a 'turkey hill' quick-mart on the corner, the second light is 'main and noble'... make a left on Noble, and follow it to Renninger's antique market,
