I usually drink my addiction as soon as I get up but this AM I was late and drank it before getting in the car to go to the gym. Thankfully it was the same sheriff from the turtle incident; he gave me a verbal warning. I guess he thought speeding wasn't as harmful as turtle relocation. Michael, I was hoping you would chime in as you are the coffee guru. I'm two months in and still experimenting using various suggestions you all have offered. I... like medium roast purchased a grinder prefer medium ground add a pinch of salt to the batch add sweetener and flavoring to the batch so I don't have to bother with that every morning just add the creamer don't like Fresh Market coffees accidentally bought a pound of decaf and notice the difference but didn't know what the problem was until my batch was used up and I went back to the bag to use the remainder of the pound and saw that it was decaffeinated bought 2 pounds online from CoffeeAM; haven't tried it yet but the company seems to offer many options I am definitely hooked which is scary 'cause what if this was something harmfully addictive?

Oh yes......and I have already planned to go get one. It will round out a trip home from the library very nicely. Thanks for reminding me casey....although I did see the advert on TV last night. I'll wave it towards you wayyyyyy over on the other side of Canada...we'll let the part in the middle look after themselves!

I'm the only one who drinks frozen coffee also. What I did was made a pot. Then I froze them in a ice try. I use about 3-4 cubes with milk or vanilla ice cream, then blend in blender. I have been looking for recipes but haven't come across a great one yet. My suggestion is to make 1 cup of coffee however you make it add ice cubes, vanilla ice cream and thats it. Here are some recipes I have found: Cappuccino Smoothie Recipe 2 cups brewed double strength coffee 1 pint coffee ice cream 6 cups ice 1 1/2 cups milk whipped cream, if desired cinnamon for garnish Place coffee, ice cream, ice and milk in blender. Mix well until smooth. Top with whipped cream (if desired) and cinnamon. 277 Calories, 36g Carbs, 8.8g Fat, 16.8g Protein =------------------------------------------- STARBUCK'S FROZEN FRAPPUCCINO The Frappuccino is blended with strong coffee, sugar, a dairy base, and ice. Make double-strength coffee by measuring 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per cup (serving) in your coffee maker. The copy will be even more authentic if you use Starbucks beans and grind them yourself just before brewing. Coffee 3/4 cup double-strength coffee, cold 1 cup low-fat milk 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 cups ice 1. Make double-strength coffee by brewing with twice the coffee required by your coffee maker. That should be 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per each cup of coffee. Chill before using. 2. Blend until smooth. Top with whipped topping. Serve Immediately.

I often enjoy an iced coffee in the late afternoon while watching the news. But I don't use any special "recipe". I wonder how much difference a recipe would make? I use a dark roast coffee (various brands, like to try different ones) and brew it pretty strong. I have a cup or 2 in the morning, hot, with just non-dairy powdered creamer, unflavored. I do not want any sweetener or flavoring of any kind in my morning coffee! That morning coffee is used for my PM iced coffee. Put it in a tall glass, add cold, flavored creamer, add ice and enjoy. My favorite creamer is International Delight, various flavors, but Amaretto is my favorite. I had been buying the Starbuck's bottled Frappuccino in the grocery store, but they are fairly expensive. Then I finally got the idea of making it at home. Much cheaper and so many more flavors available. Rusty
