Help!! Throwing a surprise birthday party, and would like to find a frozen margareita sluch type drink, that is easy to serve, as we will have alot of people.

Hi Linda, Yes Alcoholic. But I can probley cut it down to about 50 people I think. We will have beer also, and pop. We have about 125 people comming and not everyone will be drinking this. Thanks

From looking at my mower (L111), it looks like you may only be missing one piece to get it back together. The part laying on your pinkie slides on the engagement lever shaft. There is a small bolt & nut that goes through the hole (facing up in the photo at your pinkie) to hold the arm to the engagement lever shaft. I don't see those in the collection of parts you have. The pin goes in the opening in the block that is laying on your index finger. Then the cable loop slides over the pin, the washer is next, then the end of the spring slips in the groove at the bottom of the pin to hold everything together on the pin side. I've attached two photos from my mower to hopefully help more, and a third picture of the exploded view from the deere website...

If you are talking about the buckets that you add a liter of alcohol to, they are GREAT!!! Alcohol does not freeze, so the mixture freezes into a perfect slush! When you first scoop into it, it might a little too frozen, so just stir it up, or leave it on the counter for 15 minutes. I am not sure how you would add soda along with the booze - there is not enough room in the bucket. I think maybe the soda recommendation is for 'virgin' drinks - no booze, just soda for kids and non-drinkers. If you put it in a bowl, you will want to surround it with ice so it doesn't melt too quickly. Put the frozen mixture into a medium sized bowl, then put that in a huge bowl, with ice between the two. An easier way is to get an appropriately sized storage bin, put the frozen buckets in it, and surround with ice. That can be put on the counter with large spoons for scooping. You can get a shallow storage bin at Target, one like this. They have different sizes, and they're about $6.00. Or just leave the buckets in the freezer and serve as needed. My favorite is the Margarita one. If you get that, be sure and use gold tequila, it's much better. Doesn't matter which brand - I buy the cheapest. I've had the daquiri one too. It was good, but I am not a big fan of rum. And don't be tempted to add a quart instead of a liter. Definitely too strong! (ask me how I know... ;)

It looks like they put sheetrock on top of plaster this why the trim is flush. If you start taking this apart it will be a big mess. Being this flat trim, if you want to leave existing molding, you can use a backband molding along the outer edges to clean up the corners but you will need backband molding with a low profile since existing molding is recessed into a wall covering...You can get a peace of molding just to see how it fits. This is a few common sizes of backband moldings Another way is to nail same width trim over it and use backband molding, this way you will have new and clean moldings throughout and you can finish it as you like and it will look like this, this is a plain backband molding, but you can get it with a more decorative profile like you see in the picture above. Zennifer I understand what you're trying to do, totally understand the location and blood/sweat/tears you've got in the current home. But prepare to be shocked. My guess is financially you'd still be better off moving. I wouldn't attempt an addition onto your house without an architect's help bc I agree it could easily look funky and wrong. The examples above proved it for me. How much would it suck to pour hundreds of thousands of dollars into it, only to have it look bad in the end? Good luck. I've been there. Loved my old little home but it didn't make financial sense to add on. We moved. Sometimes I still miss that old house but it was the right decision.

I have used a product called On The Border margarita mix. It comes in about a half gallon plastic bucket, you pour a 750ml bottle of tequila with the ingredients in the bucket, mix it well, and place the bucket in the freezer overnight. It freezes into a slushy mix. You can just scoop out the slush with an ice cream scoop or whatever. Kind of low tech, and not near as good as my own home-made margaritas, but it is easy and doesn't wear out the bartender.

PS... I bought my On The Border buckets at Sam's Club. Strickly for research purposes, I have just gone downstairs to the freezer and gotten a glass out of a bucket that has been in the freezer since last summer. Mixed it up real good, and it tastes pretty good. Another tip, if you want to make a Top Shelf margarita out of this, mix in some Grand Marnier or Cointreau.

Another vote for the On the Border stuff.....and also for the addition of cointreau.
And also a word to the wise! When ever I have had a big party and offered margaritas and beer and pop.....everyone drank margaritas!! Have lots!! The frozen slush will keep for months in your freezer.....so don't run out.
