To answer the question - it never even dawned on me to think about what arsenic did to teeth, but that dream was SO startling and I'm not 100% sure it was a "dream" - per se. I was in that almost-but-not-quite asleep place when I was startled by Addie rushing up to me and as she got VERY close, she bared her teeth and she said - urgently - LOOK AT MY TEETH and I did and that was the end of the dream. However, it sure woke me up! I do feel strongly connected to Addie and I am not sure I can even articulate why. For decades, I've carried ONE old photo around with me from house to house (and marriage to marriage...) and it's the picture of Anna Hoyt Whitmore - Addie's older sister. One day I walked downstairs and into my dining room (where this picture hangs) and I feel like I heard someone say, "You're on the right track. Don't give up. Keep going forward with this." I really do feel almost a calling to see where this leads. If I had the money, I'd have her exhumed, but it's not just the cost of exhumation, but also the legal fees. An exhumation would have to be court ordered at this point, and that's where the serious dough will come in. Down deep in my bones, I know that Addie will rest in peace when the truth is revealed. And that furniture of my father's - oh boy - that's another story but now we're learning that there's a better than 50% chance it came from Enoch's HOUSE!!!! Can you believe it? We always heard from Father that it was an exhibition piece and I wasn't even sure what that meant. We also knew it was made in the mid-1890s. We also knew that it came into my Father's life when he was 13 or 14 (about 1933 or 1934). Two weeks ago, I was talking with the owner of The Fargo Mansion (B&B) and he said that Enoch Fargo would tell anyone who'd listen that all his furnishings were "exhibition pieces" from the 1893 World's Fair (in Chicago). That perked up my ears. And then the B&B owner said, "In the 1930s, Mattie Hoyt Fargo (Wife #3) decided to sell the house (Enoch died in 1921) and she invited the Hoyt family into the house to take whatever they wanted out of the house. We understand that Mattie's sister and cousins pretty well cleaned the place out." Well, my father's grandmother was Anna Hoyt (cousin of Mattie Hoyt) and that was like the missing puzzle piece! So now I *suspect* that my father's furniture might have come from the Fargo mansion. Rose

Bald is bald, in back, in front, on top, wherever. Many males (I'd say much more than half) are overly self-conscious and even emotionally unhappy when clearings and meadows develop on an otherwise well-forested head. They take to wearing hats even when not necessary as a sun shield. The close-cropped or shaved head is an accepted and chosen style and a way to de-emphacize the distinction between where it is and where it isn't. Maybe it's a macho identity thing, I don't know. Ever notice how many bald/balding men decide to grow beards? "See, look at me, I can grow hair!" It's just like short guys who go to the gym to pump iron because they may feel masculinely inadequate without having big biceps and tight abs. I speak from personal experience. My top of the head baldness started in my 40s but it's never bothered or concerned me a bit. When asked, I've always said the hair got burned off from the heat generated by my deep thinking.

Star Lord is impressing me, Debra, love it every time I see it. And clean blooms is a real plus. At the opposite color is Fancy Lace, a beautiful plant. I have only 1 fan left of that one, and it has not bloomed yet for me. Sherry, Dances With Giraffes Primal scream, and Sailor Sky were the same here, all did well. Primal scream did better than it has in several years. Mantis, Freedom to dance and Soli Deo Gloria look wonderful. I really miss my Soli Deo Gloria, but don't know that I will replace it. Nancy, Heavenly Christmas Cactus and Tramps Like Us seem great for you! Boys Night Out bloomed from 6/25 til 8/15 due to instant rebloom scapes, and was loaded with blooms. There were bouquets many days on it. I remember counting buds, but can't remember just how many there were, but several scapes had in the 30s. I know I had better photos of it, this is early in the season. I like this picture of it best but you can see more of the buds here Fried Green Tomatoes bloomed from 6/5-7/13 Hakuna Matata bloomed from 6/29 - 8/2. It did not do as well this year or last year as previous years. I know 2021 it had bud counts on 2 scapes over 50, and 40+ on 3 other. This year bud counts were in the 30s. I just got Let the sea Resound last fall. It bloomed 6/17 til 7/23, and started reblooming 2 weeks ago with with enough blooms to carry at least another week the Ultimate Sacrafice bloomed from 6/7 -7/6, and then had 3 rebloom scapes 7/13-8/15. I took so many pictures of that one I like Sparkling Giants too. This is its 2nd year, not a huge bud count, just 12-14, not as tall as supposed to be either. Tall enough though, about 36" this year. Hopefully its 3rd year will improve more. I always like christmas in Oz, although not a very tall one, or heavy bloomer and of course, Clown Parade. The last 2 years it has had scapes with bud counts around 35. I guess when I finally stopped dividing it every year, it rewarded me. I deleted some of my photos a couple weeks ago, I must have deleted the best ones cause I see this one is a little blurry and I left some slushy ones on. Only problem, if I can call it a problem, is it blooms so fast its blooms only last 3 weeks. But so lovely while it is going. Whale Tales had its 1st bloom season and did really well, blooming right at 4 weeks. and had a good pattern most of the time 3rd year for Tonto's Receding Headband, and 3rd time it bloomed. the 1st 2 years I got no real bloom because the scapes blasted. It tried to make it up to me this year though and bloomed over a month
