With all of the above comments I feel the l20 would be the way to go and put the extra money into the Monogram oven. But I will go to the appliance store, better yet, I will phone them and see when the new 240 will be in their store. Terilyn said next time she will go with double ovens and a regular microwave. Sometimes I feel like that is the most logical thing to do. We are trying to save space and money and there are only two of us now so really the double ovens are only needed on the holiday/birthday dinners. Maybe l0 times a year. I really thought the advantium/regular oven would be the way to go. The only place I can put a microwave is in the island. And those are $l000 for the microwave drawer. Money, money, money. If you thought these appliances would last for l0 to l5 years with no problems then you could spend the money with a smile on your face, but, we all know, and especially after reading these threads, that is unrealistic. Do any of you buy the extra warranty that the appliance stores area all pushing. Ours is $200 per appliance for 5 years. Isn't that when the appliance should be in the perfect stage. What about a warranty from year 5 to l0. That I would buy the warranty, but for the first five years I don't get it....have any of you bought it???

Brosamj: I have ordered the GE Cafe' DF range for our beach place; it's scheduled for delivery on October 1. I have not gotten to see this range in person and am banking on the fact that it's based on the GE Profile range which gets good reviews. I chose the DF over gas because, like you said, there is very little price difference and this will give me the self-cleaning oven. I have a Wolf AG at home because the DF was $2K more but I miss the self-clean. My appliance repairman likes the GE cooking products from a performance/reliability standpoint. I will post a review once our range is up and running and I get a chance to cook on it. I have the GE Monogram Advantium 120 and really like it for all of its different capabilities/functions. The Kenmore Elite dw's get very good reviews on Consumer Reports. I believe that yours is either a rebadged Bosch or Kitchenaid - the Sears salesman should be able to tell you which. I have a Kitchenaid "S" series which has been wonderful; many love their Bosch's as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either and I wouldn't hesitate to buy the rebadged Kenmore. It seems to me that you've made excellent choices for your budget.

Malhgold, the cabinets are from Ultracraft in red birch with a Golden stain. I do not have the Trivection. The oven is the Monogram ZET1SLSS, which the OP was asking about way back when (but it wasn't installed yet when the question was first posted). I'm really happy with the oven. Seems to pre-heat quickly, love those full extension racks, and love the feel of the knobs (they click softly as you turn the dial). The display and the timer function is simple and intuitive. Baking seems very even, Fan reasonably quiet. Interior light illuminates the whole oven well, and stays on the whole time oven is running (you can't control the interior light). At first that bugged me, but now I realize that I am less likely to forget to turn the oven off when I am done. The Advantium has a steep learning curve, and at first I was not thrilled, but now that I am getting the hang of it, I am liking it much better. I re-heated garlic bread tonight with cheese on top, and it came out perfect! Fresh, crispy, restaurant quality. Better than my old toaster oven could do. It took 7-8 minutes, though. Not as speedy as I thought a speed oven would be. I suspect the 240 advantium is quicker. I guess I am just impatient. No pre-heat time required, so it was better than the big oven or broiler would have been for this task. I did frozen chicken tenders for the kids last night, and they were relatively quick (8 min I think), and came out great. The microwave only function is very easy to use - my favorite is the express start button. Hit it once and it starts, with 30 sec on the timer. Hit it again and it adds 30 sec increments. Or turn the dial after it starts to add or subtract time in any amount you want. Very easy! I also like the sensor re-heat feature. It tells you when your food is piping hot, but not burned - no guessing. As a plain microwave it is not as powerful as my old microwave - but not too bad. I really need to play with it some more. I find it a PITA to change the trays when going from speed cook to microwave, though. And the fan on the Advantium is fairly noisy. Minor annoyances. I picked the Monogram over the Profile just for looks. The handles matched my hardware better, and I liked the square face, not curved. Snowy, I was told the same thing, that the only diff betw the Monogram and Profile versions of the 120 advantium was the look (and the price!) Same appliance, different face. Hope this info is helpful.

Undercounter install of the 240 Advantium is not allowed according to it's instructions. There are people who have done it anyway. I plan to go with the Bosch benchmark speed cooker to get 240 undercounter--they allow that installation. There appear to be zero user reviews however and it is very $$$. I posted in appliances a week or so ago and got no responses. Sigh. I believe there is also a jenn air, but I have found even less information about it. The Electrolux has been discontinued as far as I can tell. And the remaining options are less than 30 inches.
