Can you identify this table?

As far as I know this table belonged to my grandma. It has a lable under the table that is original to the table. It says: Directions for setting up Do(I can't make out the third letter) 63 Corner table, then I can't make out the rest of it because it starts to deteriorate.

Very difficult to see....the one picture of the whole table is very blurry.
Can you copy and paste the tag line below the picture in Photobucket into the body of your post? Then we could see it more easily.
Not sure what that metal bar is in the shot of the label?

At first, I thought it may have been used for a plant table for indoor plants or for starting plants, but then the 3rd photo shows how the bottom section swings up to extend the top - Wow! One would have to be careful not to bear too much weight on the extension lest he tip the table. A map table? But, a good map table allows the top to tip for better viewing large maps. A game table for a really big set of dominoes? The players would have to play while standing. A drafting table? However, a drafting table allows the working surface to tip and is equipped with a tray at the bottom of the tipped table. Also, having a seam across the center of the work space is bad for a drafting table. It would have to have a covering sheet put on the working surface before it would be useable. A table for displaying a military campaign and planning? A chart table for navigation? However, a chart table would not likely have casters on its feet since it needs stability for shipboard use. The casters would be the locking type. We need more information: For example, Where did this come from? Who owned it before and what was his occupation? Is the finish of the top surface very smooth or a bit rough?

Thank you everyone for your input. His parents used it as a display table in the parlor, but their house was much bigger than mine. It is desk height and look just like the one posted by penny design. I just gave it to my son to use in a corner of his living room. It’s perfect in a corner.

This was my first post here and I appreciate each who went to the trouble of researching and offering helpful suggestions. Jinx, I hadn’t seen what looks like the exact base on 1stdibs. I also thought (hoped) it might be by acrylic furniture pioneer Charles Hollis Jones. He kindly looked at my photos last week and said the table is not his design and he doesn’t know whose it is. That rules out most noted designers, including unlikely candidate Jeffrey Bigelow, who apparently always signed his work. SeattleMCM, the table has no labels/signatures. I ordered it at a furniture buyers’ show in High Point, NC. I no longer have the bill of sale. For 31 of its years it’s been in my home atop Queen Anne in…Seattle. I’ll give Reddit a try. Some sort of parlor/lamp table as best I can tell from the "marginal" pictures. Please take the time to take some better pictures -- like maybe borrow a friends "better?" digital camera -- and hold it still and focus when shooting-- then we (all here that profess to know anything) could see the table better to give some opinions!!

With that metal bar, I'd say it could be a dropleaf table. They were commonly used for tea or games, and could be moved out of the way up against a wall when not needed. I'm definitely no expert though.

I know, my nikon needs to be retired. Here's one from my husbands camera.. There is not a metal bar on this table. It's some kind of buy it and put it together table from way back when.

Still having difficulty telling what I am looking at.
You showed a picture of a label and there was some sort of a metal rod across it??
Can't tell what the white is...but it looks like a Victorian parlor table...what does the top look like? Sometimes theyw ere marble? It has a lot of the aspects of Eastlake influence, I would date it about 1890....no idea what kind of wood with out a closer look, but Eastlake was sometimes maple, sometimes oak and sometimes walnut.
Was there white paint on it at some time? What is that white I am seeing?

I know what you are looking at lindac. That's not a rod by the label, that is the space between the boards on top of the table. I have no idea what type of wood it is. Here are some more photo's.

Right now there are a few victorian parlor tables for sale on ebay. 2 have marble tops, and one, like mine does not, but it did at one time. I'm getting closer and closer to finding out about this table.
