Advice on Pro Style range under ~$2500??

Hi- I'm so glad I found this forum!! We've spent many hours reading all your experiences and it's been so helpful.

We need to choose appliances this week. Since we live in Maine, we have limited opportunity to see them in person, and it's scary to order sight-unseen, but your posts definitely help. We'd assumed we'd never be able to afford a pro-looking range, and were initially looking at "regular" consumer ranges like KitchenAid Architect II Slide-in AG, Bosch and similar. Now we're considering spending the extra $500-$1k for a pro style. After having a couple of electronic modules on previous electric stoves fail, we really like the idea of no or few electronics. Can folks comment on the models below, or advise on any we may not have considered?

Criteria:

30" (small kitchen probably dwarfed by 36")

prefer closed burner

prefer no electronic module

need oven large enough for a turkey (I think this rules out the Bertazzoni, which we did see in person and measured only about 9" clearance!)

prefer SS top well

under ~$2500

resale value is very important. This is a 3-year investment house for us (but I want to cook happily in the interim!)

We have been considering:

American Range residential 30" (what are these costing now?)

Bertazzoni (saw in person- as noted above I have ral concerns about the oven size..)

Blue Star (too pricey? open burners?)

Ikea's Praktfull Fratelli Onofri clone (but it's 36". But it's $2k!)

GE Cafe 30" slide in. But it has electronic module.

Jenn Air Premier Pro Line (ditto on electronics)

Thank you SOOOO much for any advice!!

Stacey
