Silver Queens, are you up for some more pics?

I thought I'd start a new thread so you don't have to wade through all the others each time.

Here we have a small pair of tongs. I couldn't ID their mark, and the photo is the best I could do. The tongs measure 5".

Is this some sort of a grape snipper? They don't look like silverplate to me, but what do I know? I found no "sterling" anywhere, only the mark I photographed. They measure 5.25" plus the balls, so to speak.

Handle of a 9.5" Gorham sterling candle snuffer:

Gorham spoon engraved "Worcester." It's only 4-3/8" long . . . I'm guessing demi-tasse?

I''m calling this The Claw. It's also by Gorham (Pat. 1910) and measures 5.5".

Small Whiting ladle, very curvy. I measured it at 4-1/8".

And finally I thought you might enjoy seeing this souvenir spoon by Paye & Baker. It's tiny (4-1/8") and rather fragile looking. I photographed it in two parts.

Just curious.......why do so many silver marks include lions?

Thank you!!

Susan
