That is indeed a Black Chinned Red. I had a few of them in the past that I legally collected (with permits) in Cades Cove. Compared to regular Reds they are darker with more spotting. Dave

I have a question that is more related to computers than herps, but it is hindering my viewing of all of your herp pics. We just got a new computer (much needed) and I like it alot except for one thing. I can't seem to view pictures posted here (and on my web sites). Most of them seemed to be from photobucket.com. I can view posted pictures after I have seen the originals on photobucket because after opening my pictures in my acount they suddenly became visible on my site. Is this a problem related to my privacy settings or is it just something I can't fix? Im still trying to get my pics uploaded from South Carolina, but after I figure this out it should be much easier. -Andrew

I will try to provide some info based off of memory... I believe that a few milk snakes have been found in Cochise County, but less than three have ever been recorded by an academic source. Andy Holycross found one, I think...And I know that there have been some anecdotal sightings of milk snakes in Cochise. Andy found his milk while doing the Massasauga study a few years back. I wouldn't expect to see one. :) chad
