Mantis, I got Ivory Titan at the end of May, 2014 (it was a bonus). Here's a shot I just took, not sure you can see things that great - but it's all the daylily you see in the front middle of the picture. Some blooms from another daylily are in the upper left middle in the background. I have only seen Gavin Petit once - at a daylily show probably 8 years ago. Just Fabulous was also a bonus, I got it less than a year ago.

Thank you all for looking and commenting. Sherry, Tree Turtles is usually anywhere from 48 to the listed 56 inches. And the blooms will be all over the plant...not too pretty to me to begin with, but they curl up like bows and even the colors become much clearer and prettier in the sun. Most unusual. Nan, you will like Flaming Flamingo...it is not an extra early full opening bloom, but it stands up very well to the sun and looks more striking as the day heats up. As I said, I am very happy with the performance of both Possession of Obsession and Spoken in Parables. Both are reliable re-bloomers here. Finally, the blooms are beginning to die down....not out yet, but I expect few clump shots after the next few days, but will still have a lot of re-bloomers which I will wait to post until there re a sufficient number of them. I am wishing all of you who are in the beginning and middle of your seasons (and you Celeste) to have great seasons. kay

Chocolate Cherry Dreams - just a few scapes, but huge clump maybe I'll try to divide Wall of Fire - one of the giants this year, with 42" scapes (but not this particular one, it's not short either) Now 2 that I think will have to go Dream Legacy - not blooming right now, earlier pic It kinda looks nice here in the morning light, but just a few buds, not good opening (ha used to be my bud queen one year) Sweet Sugar Candy - not really late, tiny flowers this year, very poor bud count, very short, it does get a lot more shade now that the tree is big, but others near it seem to be ok Tahitian Waterfall Deliverer - last Quiet Reflections - LFO Man of Sorrows - LFO (interesting I have another division of it in a more sunny bed and that bloomed out more than a week ago, they are same size; shade prolongs blooming? :D) Couple lates with more than one flower ;) Flying Carpet Zena TFL!

Kate, I like yellows slightly more than I like oranges. And the color of Tuscawilla Tigress is the shade of orange I particularly dislike. But I make an exception of Tuscawilla Tigress, it gets a lot of attention and blooms well. Unless they are splotchy constantly, or distorted, I get rid of very few good bloomers! Kay, I am liking Cradle of Bethlehem too, seems to have good habits too. Debra, what can I say, I'm gooood! LOL. But then, I did not move mine in May either, that does set them back. The first year I had Wild Irish, it was splotchy. I get a bloom or 2 early in the season that are splotchy then it clears up. It is extra short this year though. And of yellows, which I am not fond, I don't like the bright bold yellow, but those are the ones that get the most attention. Sorta like the squeaky wheel, so I have a place for a few. Thanks Laura, Claudine's Charm is always one of my favs, now that is the color combo I go for. Julia, isn't it the truth, many have gotten a 2nd chance after a good year and are still here. Getting a good rain today. Leaving me bored and stuck inside. I go outside and sit on the porch looking out at the flowers. And the traffic go by....
