Extremely difficult even WITH a photo to identify tomato varieties unless it's something specific like Sun Gold. My recommendation? Save seed and grow it next year. :)

*Homegardenpa, thank you!.. For the opinion, and getting back to the problem at hand :) I didn't think it looked like blight because of the same things, after really checking it out. I really looked good and hard at every disease, and it seemed that my plants were lacking at least 1 major symptom of each. Nothing was adding up perfectly, even though I know there *are* exceptions to anything and everything. I do see where everyone can think blight at first look tho, especially with everyone's varying experiences with it. Have to say, Im sorry to have started an argument, and had no idea the word "organic" would turn out so bad. Im really neither organic or un-organic, but I see everyone's point. When it comes down to comparing to a disease, I really see bacterial canker more than any. The leaves look identical to pics I have seen. Yet again, the stems dont have browning, and when cut, there is no oozing. So this is where im rattled! I do think it is a combo of things at the moment. I guess a beginner's combo of wrong-doings! I uprooted one of the money makers to give a little more room, and have been evenly watering. I took a leaf to the nursery, and he told me it couldn't hurt to just spray a watered down solution of daconil incase it is disease, but just leave them alone other than that. The fact that every container (all 8 of them, spread apart) is showing these same issues, all appearing at the same time, makes me think its got to be a burn bc a disease would take time to spread. Im happy to say, most of them havn't really gotten worse. Not any better, but not spreading. That has to be a good sign, right?

littleblu87 - I am not sure where you are, but I purchased Georgann Schmalz's cd set for Georgia Birding By Ear which has been a big help for me. I bought it at my local Wild Birds Unlimited, so you might try them to see if there is a specific set for your state. Every state seems to have a bird guru who does one. I could not find them on Amazon and such. On a note, I did get the Peterson's national set years ago and it was too much information, too many birds. Much prefer just my state. the enature site is my other favorite reference!

I guess I wish instead of a knee jerk "this is different and I don't like it!" reaction, people could be secure enough in themselves and their own identities to say something like: "Wow, I've never had those thoughts and feelings about my gender but clearly this other person has...how interesting that we don't all go through life on the same path." NYT and CBC have been giving time to Elinor Burkett, previously known as the woman who Kanye'd the Oscars, to tell everyone that men and women's brains are exactly the same and that it's periods and growing up in fear for your physical safety that make a woman (because trans people don't have to worry about violent attacks). So since she's never had a period, Caitlyn in no way knows what it's like to be a woman and why don't those angry trans folks shut up already (PS she apparently thinks that not only are trans women not women, but trans men are also not women? I wonder how she feels about women who've never ovulated?). Who in the world thinks there's only one way to be a woman?! I hope to God I have more in common with Laverne Cox than this kook, at least in terms of class, empathy and intelligence. It's jerks like this that give feminism such a bad name.
