Might be a coyote/dog hybrid?
Could also be a hypomelanistic coyote. The muzzle does look a bit broad and as you point out, the forelegs are massive for a coyote.

They range from pale cream to reddish brown like this one through the usual grey-brown and on into a silver-black coloring.

For some reason, perhaps crossing with the eastern wolves, East coast coyotes seem to have more color variety.

He doesn't look unusually husky to me, for a summer coyote. It's the fluffy fur in winter that makes their legs look so skinny.

If it were in the SW USA,I would say "not a coyote" without any doubt. There are several features that set it apart from coyotes you might see anywhere from Ga,Ky,Tx,Ks,NM and to Ca.

Great looking animal. I want one. The tail looks more coyote than wolf. Does look very well fed.

Yes, not at all an unattractive animal....and I heard (tv) they're getting bolder about being seen too (than wolves or coyotes).

That might be a dog/coyote mix. Coyote pelts look much different.

Looks like a "coywolf", which is actually a three-way cross of coyote, Eastern wolf, and domestic dog. That reddish coloration is probably due to the dog genes. Toronto is one of the areas where these are most common and have been studied most-extensively. Coywolf

Three way cross !!!!!!!! That would make him a desighner wolf or a mut,whichever you choose. LOL
