It doesn't look like they have anything even near modern. Plus my RUSSIAN EASTER is way more yellow than that, maybe theirs was really bleached out by the sun. I also have BOLD TIGER, its a nice 'oldie'.

What an edge. The DLs here are also doing strange things. I am getting polka dots, extra petals, and sepals, and doubles when they are not doubles. Everytime I see a poly. it takes me a few seconds to realize what it is because it looks out of focus, because I do not see its usual form. I appreciate every bloom I get. Jane

I think you've got the magic formula!!- part of that formula might be matching the right plants to the right climate, but regardless this is the most impressive container crop I have ever seen. Out here in Sacramento both of my Bell Pepper plants died this season :( - we recently had 5 days of triple digit weather so that is suspect no1, but I am happy for anyone's feedback since Im new to gardening (my first season). As the picture shows I used a clear plastic bag instead of a black plastic bag. I often see beads of moisture drops under the plastic, could this be breeding harmful mold? And if so how is it any different from using a black trashbag? I used clear because we have a lot of triple digit days here in Sacramento, attached a pic.

I'll put him out on/or beside my white bench, or maybe on a seat of the wrought iron chair and table set I painted white. This coloring is a little light. It is really more colorful that it shows. Leslie
