Flock of hawk fledglings??

We have hawks here galore and they often flock in numbers, sometimes just two or three and sometimes too many to count. Lately I've been seeing some with their fledglings around the neighbhorhood and I love to watch this every year around this time. There are some storms around the area but not storming here at the moment and the hummingbirds are going crazy around here along which they usualy do around storms. Sitting out on the porch watching the hummer wars I notice a lot of cheeping so I look up and there are 12 fledgling hawks flocking around the neighborhood. I could not get a good look but they have such a distinguishable pattern even as babies. Anybody ever seen this before. I've never seen this in the years that I've watched them as a amature watcher. I do not know if they are red shouldered or red tailed though. We have both and usually red shouldered but do have some red tailed around the area too.
